So with the 5100s, you'd suggest a lower strut spacer? I currently have a 2.5" Upper spacer, and am looking at adding the 5100s at about 1 inch setting. Thoughts?
I decided to go with a set of Freedom off-road control arms.

Ya, I don't want to go any higher, I think I'm pushing it at 3" as it is.
I am looking into some Bilstein 5100s now, since I'll have the...
I've got the same amount of lift, a 34 may be stuffed in there, as long as you keep the tire on the skinner side possibly a 275/65r20. There was alot of trimming involved to fit a 305/55r20 in there with 3"
OK, thanks for the feedback, I wasn't sure if there would be alignment issues if I was under 3.5" of lift
....maybe I'll just have to throw on some more lift? Hmmmmmm.
I have 3" of lift up front and am in need of new control arms. The Rough Country UCAs says it will only work with a minimum of 3.5" of lift....
Has Anyone had any luck with these ebay upper control arms? They say good for 2"-4" of lift...
Not sure if the yukons and tahoes have the same console, but i got one of these off of ebay for about $25 and it's perfect! GM# 19166288
Just pull it out to get access to the large compartment underneath
Looks good! Is it a gloss black? or a satin/matte black?
I painted/cleared mine, with stock black insert, and vinyl color matched emblem. but have gotten a few rock chips over time in which the old chrome peeks through.
Are there any opinions out there on just swapping out the muffler? I think they re-worked the exhaust and added some sort of valve to the exhaust. I've always been a fan of just swapping the muffler and removing the rear resonator, But I don't know if things have changed at all? I'd be up for...
Trimmed about 1/4" off the lower front bumper, zip tied the liner as tight as I could make it. (I still want to make a little bracket that pulls the liner and bumper together on teh side to get rid of the small gap. Also knocked a bit more off of the corner of the steps from previous trim and...

I was able to fit a set of 305/55r20 on factory wheels with 2" spacers on mine, If my math was correct, it would be about the same as a 20x10 -19mm offset wheel. I had to do a TON of trimming though on top of the 3" front and 2" lift rear.
I went with a 3/2 lift. Everything alligned up perfectly. I used a 2.5" upper strut spacer and a .5" lower strut spacer in the front. (Just in case 3" was too much, I could take out the lower and keep it at 2.5) And the rear I used a 2" spring spacer with shock extenders.
With some trimming, i...
