    Thanks for all the replys, but I dont want increase the power. Mine original one is bad, I want to replace it with a cheaper aftermarket one cause they are cheaper. The GM one is real expensive, anyone got a good used one they wanna sell.

    I took the steeriing colum apart and looked behind the blinker/hi low beem switch and found a wire that had corroded off from behind the swithc wire block. I sliced it in with another wire and they now work. I think I need the entire hi low beem switch.

    my 98 yukon is doing the similar thing. I can turn the headlights on and on dim the headlights will not work, switch it to brights and the brights will work. Switch it back over to dims and they dont come on. Any ideas, thanks
