What does everyone else make of this before i tear into it. i was driving down the road the other day when all of a sudden my fuel light came on and the gauge went from 1/4 tank to empty. At the same time the truck started running like shit and i could barely limp it a quarter...
i looked in my manual but i cant find exactly how to access the expansion valve on the evaporator core. Any tips? im assuming i have some dash removal ahead of me...
I am indeed replacing the compressor I have a new accumular, expansion valve, oriface tube etc. Guess I will have to take it to the dealer because no other shops around know wha im talking about when I say ac flush which floors me. Thanks!
Ok so i ordered everything i think im going to need at rock auto. I'm trying to get prices for an evac, flush, then after i replace the components to recharge the system. why is it for some reason half of the shops around don't know what an ac flush is? is it that uncommon to perform this? rock...
hey yall im on rock autos website trying to order the compressor, accumulator/ drier and orifice tube. There are a few selections im not sure about for each. Cab anyone help me? I have a 2000 Tahoe lt, new body stule with rear ac. im so confused can anyone help?
over the winter my heat in the front was luke warm at best, But when the rear ac was turned on, it worked perfectly fine. Now is it the mixer door that is possibly?
Well I have two diferent ones lol what is the number that I should have on the back of the fob? One is unlock\lock and rear 2x buttons. The other has the red horn button
Ok so I tried it again multiple times and still no go. The locks cycled but no response when I held down the fob buttons. I also tried with another fob that came with the truck same rwsult. The jumper wire method. Wont work on mine as there are no wires in the slots the instructions mention...
So goin down the road in i believe 3rd gear. Under load, if i roll on before it catches up and up shifts, or downshifts under the load there is an odd noise from the drive train. the only way i can describe it is a grumble either in the transmission or the transfer case, not a grind or anything...
ok ill try it again, yes my truck is the new body style. If for some reason these don't link, is there a transmitter in the dash that would need to be checked or where would the next step be?
yes they did react but held the fob buttons down for at least a minute and no change. Did the process a few times. The fob came with the truck, so i dont know if it is original or not.
I found a write up for a key fob with the same rf # or whatever on the fob and the process was specific to...
