Hi all
Been a while since I posted here . Just hit 4k on our '17 (and NO issues to date). Still in honeymoon with the driving experience ;-). My wife is the primary owner and has totally ditched our X5 and only drives the Denali (even for short runs ...lol).
Anyhoo, our dealer is asking to...
No issues either! ZERO regrets purchasing this since we test drove Mercedes ML, Escalate, Audi and Landcruiser.
If I have to go back, I'd purchase it again ;-).
Keep in mind people post stuff on forums mainly WHEN things don't work right. You'll barely see a thread titled "Hey...I have 25k on my Denali without a single issue". The amount of new Yukon's I've started seeing on the roads (and at my work in the parking lot), tells me GM is selling these...
Hah....u may end up like me ;-) ...I have the diesel X5 and other than the smaller space (compared to the Yukon), I LOVE the ride and diesel torque. If only the Yukons came with the diesel option :-(.
Drive it in good health!! Great color ...when we were shopping around, it came down to the FrostWhite and the red ...we went with the FW as we've already owned many red/burdgundy vehicles before so wanted something different. The chome accents definitely give it more pop !!
UPDATE: Dealer sent us replacement headphones today and they worked out of the box!!
I did compare the original/new sets and found the models are slightly different. Original had the "channel" selector toggle button. The replacement (working) ones just has a button instead. On the latter, it...
Like others say, work with GM....we have a '17 and dont have the vibration issue . I have a work mate with a '15 Denali (with over 30k miles now) and he's never had the vibration issue from day one (or even if it's there, he hasn't noticed it). And he commutes 60 miles one way daily to work...
We just bought a 2017 some weeks ago and if it's there, it hasn't been enough for me to notice it (or my friends and family members that have test driven it either).
Love the ride/power. No complaints so far other than the rear entertainment headphones are not working but dealer is now sending...
Sorry if this has been posted here previously.
How do I find out what month my "D" was built in? Other than going back to the dealer who's 70 miles away.
Thanks!
Have u tried leaving the mode selector to "AUTO" instead of "2W"?
We have a 2017 and been driving in auto mode and haven't encountered what you described.
Hi all
Read some horror stories on certain 'stealerships' for maintenance/repairs. Yes..the ones where u take in a perfectly running vehicle for a oil change and they come back with a $1500 bill claiming there's fluid leak, tires needing major alignment, etc.
Anybody here from Sacramento or...
Bumping this ...we just bought a new 2017 and I discovered it today. Pulled it in the garage and while the warning lights come on (yellow/orange/red), the chime doesnt come on at all!!! Same thing when going in reverse. I checked the vehicle settings and it's set to "chime".
I can't get te IR...
Still in honeymoon with our 3 day old Denali ...
Tested the DVD system this morning with my kids and while the movies play just fine (even off my external hard drive in .mp4 format), the supplied wireless headphones don't work. I tried different DVDs (these work just fine on my X5) and same...
Hi all
UPDATE: Ended up buying the remote from Sears or $30 (cheapest one they had in stock). Took me 5 mins to program it to the vehicle/garage door.
Guess unlike my past vehicles, the Denali can only be programmed with the handheld remote.
Hope this helps if anyone else gets stuck like me.
^ Which link ? I couldn't find any vids on how to program it WITHOUT the receiver/remote control. Most of the utube ones are with the home link receiver/controller on hand.
Thanks.
Howdy folks
Took delivery of the white frost beauty today and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT !!
Still figuring out some stuff but most importantly, couldn't program our craftsman garage door opener with the Denali (garage opener has learning code)
I followed the manual (and the GM utube link) but they...
See if the dealer has any demo Denalis...we pulled the trigger last night on a demo 2017 Yukon Denali white frost with all options decked out for $65k and dealer extended warranty to 5 yr/75k for free. 1350 miles on it. They are changing out the tires/rims today, performing oil change (mainly...
Hi all
Totally appreciate the responses and thanks for it!
UPDATE: Proud owner of a Frost 2017 Denali Yukon as of last night. Got a good deal on a demo vehicle with all tops decked out for $65k so we went for it. Dealer is swapping out the tires/rims with 22's and then bringing it directoy to...
Hi all
Thinking of getting a pre owned 2015 Tahoe LTZ or Yukon Denali (4x4 config).
I'm coming from a 2005 Acura MDX (143k miles and no major repairs to date) but it's starting to feel underpowered and small with 2 adults and 2 kids (10 and 14yrs but both are tallish for their age!!)
Local...
