    Well it would appear we've gone from "waiting for the order to even get accepted" to "someday maybe we'll produce it" Order still just says "heading toward production" and the agent I spoke to on the website said there's no current estimate on a production date.....this is fun!

    Yea, I was pretty shocked to get the call on Friday.....we both talked about how we aren't really that excited yet because we aren't convinced it'll actually ever be built :rofl: Sure did, ordered February of 2022 then got switched to a '23 last July.

    Apparently the max tow must be off constraint, because we got a call Friday that our order FINALLY got picked up, almost 13 months to the day after ordering! Waiting for a production week. A vin and all that jazz but sales guy confirmed we got all packages and upgrades we wanted, and confirmed...

    We both liked it as well! And yes, I thought it had quite a bit of blue to it and the color definitely varies in different lighting, but we were able to see it in bright and overcast lighting and liked it both times, actually seeing it the same day as the midnight blue when it was more overcast...

    Dealership we ordered through has finally been getting some duramax yukon XL allocations according to the inventory page....hopefully that's a sign our wait will be coming to an end soon!

    New year....same story from dealer, and GM, rapidly approaching the 1 year mark since we placed our order with no movement and per GMC inventory page, there are zero with our specs and color within a 2,000 mile radius.... :Insane:

    Finally got a response from our sales guy, deposit is refundable as long as the vehicle hasn't gone into production (wish we had that problem...) He said he was going to check on where we were in line but haven't heard back on that yet. He also mentioned they've been getting yukons but haven't...

    I have been working to clarify where we are in line but now the sales guy has gone radio silent (not the first time that has happened hence the reason I've started looking elsewhere)....I will be sending an email later today requesting information on cancelling our order/returning our deposit...

    I used to think the same on large vs small and I'm sure that's true more often than not, but the dealer I have the order through is a large dealer and they aren't getting jack squat from what I can see on the GMC website. We've been waiting 10 months with zero movement on our build....Meanwhile...

    Anybody on the west coast having luck with orders getting picked up? According to the inventory page on GMC it appears a few dealers within our range have had an influx of allocations, but then others have gotten nothing.....I'm trying to make sense of this whole system....but as of yet have not...

    Still no update on our order, and the dealer we have it through from what I can tell hasn't had a 3.0 allocation in months. Our sales guy has also been really spotty with communication/responding to emails so I have started looking around at other dealers to explore options.

    I agree....it just gets to a certain point where we can't wait forever, wife's vehicle desperately needs to be replaced as it is (quite literally) falling apart. We've put a few bandaids on it to get the heat working to at least get us through winter, but they're only bandaids! Hopefully though...

    Been keeping an eye on the inventory page on GMC and haven't seen any Duramax Yukon XLs for the dealership we ordered through in a while....Going to give it to the end of the year and then pull the plug if nothing changes. As much as I want that 3.0 L not sure it's worth all the BS at this point.
