    A Little Makeover

Nice. Debadge for sure. Especially that dealer advertisement.

2nd Row seat belt pulled out too far

Thats a fair price. The install is straightforward. The door rubber weatherstrip pulls off and then the rear quarter panel can be pulled off. You don't have to fully remove either one, just enough so you have room to work. The bottom anchor is a torx and regular bolts for the anchor point...

2nd Row seat belt pulled out too far

You can try to wiggle it loose but it is a sealed unit. Seatbelt failure sucks. I had to replace one in my second row. Dealer price was about $70. Labor was simple. The quarter panel is just pressed in with clips. Small price to pay for the safety of my passengers.

    Door popping?

Those prices are too high. Check your local dealer. Or a place like GMpartsdirect.com.

    A few mods this weekend

It will look real clean when you take off the mouldings. Are those Escalade door handles?

    Door popping?

Dealer description is a link. Rears and fronts are different. But the side are interchangeable. My problem was only the rears. Typically no issues for the fronts due to a different design. No idea why GM did that.

    Interior Seats and Dash restoration

To identify the colors, try theseatshop.com. Dash look great. I need to do this in a couple of spots. Regarding the seats, the creasing may return because the seat cushion wears over time, so the leather is not tight. Seat cushions are available from the dealer. I used upholstery foam...

    Door popping?

Welcome to board. A lot of good info here. Be patient. Links were redesigned. Get the newer ones (dealer, online, or junkyard). Now made of hard plastic. The metal wears away on the old ones and no amount of lube will help. Labor takes about 5 minutes for 3 bolts. My doors used to pop so loud...

    Window question

One of my windows was slow before the cables shredded apart. It may not be the tracks or the motor. I never tried lube on the cables. Could be worth a try.

    What is differences in Z71?

2wd is for the city folk who like driving full size rigs to the mall. I see them all the time here in LA.

    I wouldn't do it. A $50 tow truck vs. potential trams/diff problems.

    2000-2002 Stock Sub enclosure??

OP, you mention saving money. The rear factory sub project is a lot of time and effort for potentially unsatisfactory results. That's why the people that really want quality bass in the oem location spend the $$$ for a custom enclosure. Question really is, what do you expect? Have you ever...

    Window question

So far I've had good luck with the Dorman brand. Also, the tracks were not pre-lubed out of the box.

Did a 9 hour detail on my Tahoe *PICS*

Agreed. I actually enjoy detailing my rides. Just now I have to rush a little because of the kids instead of drinking beer and taking my time.

    Window question

Maybe get the complete regulator and motor kit from one manufacturer instead of replacing one part at a time. The motor may not be in the right starting position. One window set should be about $100, and you get a warranty. Also I noticed when I replaced mine that the cables are zip tied where...

Trip to the body shop to color match.

+1. This little detail makes a huge difference. I used vinylex. ---------- Post added at 07:08 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:05 AM ---------- That color is so nice. I wish my burb was that color. Did you sell your Z71 rack?

    Squeeky window

Just don't go crazy. I used the included straw and sprayed on the inside of the weatherstrip only. The tops and bottom of the weatherstrip was not an issue for me.
