Theory is one thing....practice is another....even after helping you solve your problem, wiring my own RP5-GM11 was daunting at best....I did finally get everything working right.
PAC - RP4-GM11 Interface
Kenwood DDX394 HU
Kenwood KAC-8406 900 Watt 4-Channel Class AB Car Audio Power Amplifier...
I put the Kicker CS 6.5's in my 05 Yukon but I also added a Kenwood Double Din Touch Screen....it sounds really good without any amplifiers but I will be adding a 900w Kicker Amp soon.
After you connect that light blue/yellow wire from the HU to the blue/yellow of the PAC interface, you will need to go into the setup after install and program your steering wheel buttons to the radio, and then you should be good to go.
What Sub Box are you using? I am doing a similar install with
Kenwood Excelon DDX394 HU
SiriusXM SXV300 Tuner
2 x Kicker 43CSC654 Coaxials
1 x Kenwood KAC-8406 900 Watt 4-Channel Class AB Car Audio Power Amp
1 x Kenwood KAC-6104D 600 Watt Mono Block Amp
2 x JL Audio 10W0V3-4 10" 4 ohm Subs...
I completely agree, the problem is how they terminate the microphones and the XM antenna....at least with the XM antenna you can break off the outer plastic housing and then plug the antenna directly into a new Sirius/XM tuner. I did not have any shrink tubing at the time so I wrapped the metal...
as far as I am aware without an Onstar subscription that built in mic is worthless.....too bad too...I wanted to use it with my Kenwood DDX394 for Bluetooth calls.
