I’m kinda confused here. Is your issue where it rubbed and bent the inner fender down? Or where one tire is straight and one tire is crooked? If it’s the crookedness that seems like an alignment issue with the tie rods but you should know because it ought to be pulling hard one way or the other…...
With stock rims yea you may need a 2-3” leveling kit and 1/4” wheel spacers so they don’t rub the upper control arms if running with stock or no offset wheels
If your stepping into offset wheels rubbing will become an issue. Usually on these models you can get away with some fender liner...
You need the rpo code from the Escalade to verify with your Tahoes rpo code so you can see if the gear ratio is the same
Is the escalade rear a 14 bolt or is it still a 10 bolt?
As long as you verify the gears are the same then you should be good to go. You can also pull the diff cover and...
I have not but the best bang for the buck right now is the mini Memphis mojo 8”s they hit harder then any 10-12-15 I’ve ever heard and one single in a ported box with 800-1000watts would give you a lot of punch
I’ve seen Silverados with 2 under the seat and 1500watts flexing their roof their...
Only looks like a leveling kit in there also as long as it ain’t maxed out the ball joints should hold up ok really the 12-14” wide wheels is what eats ball joints but ever since I swapped to kryptonite ball joints I haven’t had any issues they make some super beefy suspension for the 99-06 if...
Probably did the spacers so the tires diddnt rub the control arms I know especially with stock wheels or no offset wheels that 11.50s and 12.5” wide tires like to rub on the upper control arms
I’ve ran 2” spacers on 6 different trucks daily driven and long distance trips once a week for work...
Its a common issue I told my dad this when he got his 09 if he diddnt atleast get the afm disabler if not a tune it would eventually let loose he got it at 75,000 once it got close to 100,000 it dropped a lifter and boom. We put new lifters cam oil pump and gaskets in his truck and it’s running...
At that price your better off to go get a custom tune from a local tuner using HP tuners it’s a lot better bang for your buck and you can dial it in to your liking as far as torque management shift points overdrive kick in and all that jazz
What year body style do you have? I’ve got plenty of experience with 90-2013
When I got my 07 the first thing I did was throw some 20x12 on with 275 streets with no lift I was running 2” spacers all around that’s why there poking so much but without them they were just outside the fender well I...
Like I said you can always throw a leveling kit under it if you want more height and coil overs have a adjustable collar to raise and lower the height as well but I’d opt for the spacer over maxing out the preload on the spring so it won’t stiffen the ride
That’s what I meant was I had the 6112 I believe ain’t that the adjustable ones? I hated them you also had to separate the stock strut to assemble them but I’ve had good experience with the 5100s in the past
Most coil overs will be setup for 2-3.5” of lift and if you ever want more just throw a leveling kit on it
Fox eibach pro icon and king are all common options
the Silverado ones fit the Tahoes too they don’t necessarily have to be Tahoe specific
I run icon and eibachs
Fox and king are good...
I personally like the handling of my lifted trucks and suv I feel like it rides better then it did from the factory and all I got is kryptonite front end parts with uniball uca and coil overs
Due to the cv axles they may bind up
Kryptonite suspension makes 2wd/4wd hubs to where you can remove the cv axles without your wheel bearings spitting apart.
Easiest way would be to lower the keys as low as they can go and for the rear you can cut the springs shorter or new drop springs for...
The most I was able to stretch the 7.5” to is 9” even with uniballs
If you get taller spindles you could bring it up but unless you drop the differential more then your lower control arm angles will still not be the best.
I’ve seen crowd run kryptonite or cognito a arms with ball joint spacers...
Love the color man!
As for the bilsteins get the 5100 series stock style ones and keep the spacers I had gotten the 5150 adjustable height ones a couple years back and they rode like shit they were way too stiff I went back to stock Monroe’s and they were too soft eventually I ended up doing...
Mine are coming out the rear by the Reese hitch but their axle dumped 7x18” tips
I wanted most of the tips to be hidden that’s why I axle dumped them vs the typical Texas style
