There used to be a guy who made them but that was years ago. Basically with the Escalade bezel and your Tahoe/yukon bezel and cut them both in half and sister them together
My dod engine in my 07 Tahoe has over 400,000 miles it’s got the 4l60 original powertrain original dod lifters never torn inside the motor for anything had two lifters stick on me possibly due to a oil pressure issue (pickup o ring cracked) got em free both times with marvel mystery oil she’s...
Sounds like my father in law I changed spark plugs the other day trying to trace the Tahoes misfire and he said “let me guess you changed all 8 diddnt you?” Then “overkill overkill keep wasting your money” I’m like dude I got them on sale and with my discount it was 20$ for a set of ngks like...
Good good! I actually polished mine with mothers aluminum polish on a drill and it worked really damn good but you could still see where the clearcoat was cracking on them so I just got new lens for them
Never done any real racing I just cut doughnuts at a couple certain intersections to piss certain people off or hit a 30 roll when it’s raining to fishtail it back and fourth this is in my Silverado definitely not my Tahoe my Tahoe is a pig
id get some eibach fox or king coil overs over the rough country’s I haven’t had luck with rough country shocks like ever they suck lol
Could find some for a 6” lift that would get you just right probably and if you ever wanted to pick it up more just throw a 40$ 2” leveling kit under it and...
Welcome buddy!
Coil overs are the way to go fox king or similar
Paired with uniball upper control arms I run fabtechs their cheap and good haven’t had a issue for 4 years now just about
Performance wise a good cold air intake preferably a sealed one full exhaust (speed engineering Longtubes...
Fti is supposed to be quality stuff I’ve got a 4wd 4l60 with 175k miles I’ll let you get cheap but you would have to pull it out I could help you do that if need be but it sounds like something else maybe electrical in the computer or the sensors that’s a weird issue.
I always had Jamie Parker...
Flex fuel injectors are plenty big for mid 500s which will take work to get too anyways
Best bang for the buck is port your heads out or have a set of 243s ported out valve job done throw a good top end in it from Texas speed with a 224 cam or the chapacabra or btr truck Norris all these can be...
Kinda hard to repair and keep it from peeling anymore I ended up stripping my whole dash of it which was also VERY time consuming but I liked the black better personally
You may have sheared the driver axle probably be best to go rob one from the junkyard it’s worth pulling the cover to check it out but as stated if you plan to rebuild what you have I’d put some 4.10s or 4.56s in her and a tru track posi
Speed engineer Longtubes 1 7/8” and if you got a good shop who will pass you then get the catless x pipe with em that should get you where you want to be if not swap the 40 series for a super 10 series
I had 1 7/8” Longtubes no cats 3” exhaust x pipe and duel super 10s to 5” tips and it sounded...
That sucks man I thought performabuilt were some good transmissions too I still haven’t tackled pulling mine yet I’ve been dreading it to be honest. Apparently my pinion angle was off due to the lift on my Silverado which caused my tail shaft housing and part of the transmission to explode on me...
For the stock rims you may need .25” spacers at a minimum to keep the tire from rubbing on the upper control arms at full lock but I feel like that was mainly for larger aftermarket control arms if you run into a issue with that you can get some from advance auto fairly cheap
The rough country 7.5” is essentially a 5” kit stretched to 7.5” the fabtech is a true 6” and even with mine stretched to almost 8.5” or so angles are still perfect
With my fabtech it was actually the opposite I got 2” spacers in the rear and .5” up front could probably do a 1” though but I diddnt want to trim my studs shorter it don’t bother me that much
unless you run 12-14” wide wheels it’ll look goofy I’ve had 35s on my Tahoe ever since I lifted it at like 275,000 miles and now have over 400,000 and I’ve never torn my transmission or rearend out I dog the shit out of it too!
I ran 33s when I had just a leveling kit
Both of these setups...
In my 08 I used the lower grommet under the brake booster not the upper one and even then their is two layers of the grommet and was difficult to feed wire through I think I ended up using a large flat blade screw driver to poke the hole then a coat hanger to push through to the other side so I...
Color match or vinyl wrap the chrome to white and white it out
Smoke out the taillights I used vinyl wrap for this and it came out great in the wife’s car. As far as the Bose subwoofer it’s a pain to convert that but it’s fairly easy to add a aftermarket sub and amp to the stock system look into...
A person at the school house has one that still stock basically but with a 3” leveling kit and 33” nittos and it looks good
I’ve never been a fan of the side steps
Window tint always makes a good difference as far as looks go
Can’t go wrong with some smoked taillights and 3rd brake light...
