Sorry to hear that, and it's pathetic how many of these fail. I'd work with your dealership and see if GM can do some goodwill for that. Usually, a good dealership, will go to bat for you and see what they can help with.- B-train

2003 Tahoe LS Interior Swap
Any interior from the same generation is a bolt in. I would go with leather personally, but you won't have heated seats unless you do some sort of wiring -

-9F in Chitcago western suburbs. Not too much wind luckily, but my guess is it feels more like -12F. When your boogers, mustache, and eye brows all freeze up with condensation, it's a real good time.- B-train

5.3 Guys, opinion on oil change intervals
There are shops that include a rotation with LOF. It's a way they can try and sell more work. But, if you keep up on your stuff, they probably won't find anything. The couple times I let the dealership change mine when getting warranty work done, I paid around $65-70.- B-train

5.3 Guys, opinion on oil change intervals
I'd say stick with 5k intervals - thr dealership isn't wrong, and I'd even say PROACTIVE based on what the oil life monitor will tell you to do. If $100 is too much, buy a 15mm wrench, oil filter wrench, jack and stands and you are in business. 22mm socket and ratchet/impact if you want to...- B-train

17 inch wheels offset/backspacing question
Well, after some further digging, it doesn't seem like they will work without spacers and possibly hub centering rings either. Bronco wheel specs seem to have either a +30 to +55 offset depending on the wheel, and a 93 mm hub vs 78. Based on what you've shared, these wheels would be tucked... -

Thank you for the information. This thread has been helpful. I'm thinking of ditching the 22 inch wheels on my 17 Denali for either a 17 or 18 wheel. I did some research and found that the new Ford Bronco uses the same bolt pattern. Some of the wheels look quite nice, and there are 5 matched... -

Yukon Hybrid/Strange Cold start issue
I would look at the throttle body to see if it's coked up with carbon. Maybe it's getting hung up as all the components shrink due to the cold.- B-train

Hmmmm...... I'm going to call human error possibly. Do you have a picture of the plug? Also, how old are they (miles)? I've never seen a ceramic end break off in the cylinder, seen the porcelain Crack from side load and improper socket used. Maybe they dropped a plug, brushed it off, and put...- B-train

Lifter tick?
Not sure. There is extra noise, but it doesn't sound too bad to me. How's the oil level and condition? Maybe put in a quart of ATF or some MMO and give her a good run- let it idle for a bit first and see if anything changes. It could just be injector noise as well.- B-train

That's funny about the tesla cars. They are the new prius.......most owners drive at, or below, the speed limit to conserve electrons because keeping up with traffic kills their range. Just put the '96 Burb back on the road for the winter and...

Oil life question
I'd be more concerned with moisture accumulation in the motor given those type of miles and temps. Pull the fill cap and look for white snot from moisture. If it's clean, then I'd just run it- B-train

2018 Yukon Denali Flex Fuel?
Are you looking to run strictly E85? If not, I would assume you can run up to 50% without any problems. I know the 6.0L engines from 2015 up could run up to 50% ethanol blend right from the factory. I've done a few tests with my 2017 6.2L, non flex fuel, and it handles a blend up to 50% just...- B-train
