Yes, there is a lot of snow. And it crunches nicely under your feet when you walk. But when driving on a winter highway, a lot of it sticks to the car. And on the suspension elements)))) The most painful thing is the rear bumper, a monstrous amount of snow falls out of there)
I love snow. I am a winter child so as long as there is plenty of snow, I do not mind the cold.

I am a cooler weather guy myself, but I've found that the older I get, the less patience I have for winter. I do like the look of snow, just not the headaches and road salt associated with it. A warm wood stove, pot of chili, and a good movie is fun to a certain degree. Working field service in it......not so much.

I'm more of a fall weather guy I guess as far as cold weather goes. I'd be happy to live in a place that has temps of 55-80F year round.

Where do you live? Beautiful scenery
I live in Moscow, Russia. And these wonderful photos are from my trip to Siberia a week ago. Almost 2000 km to the east, crossing the Ural Mountains, the extraordinary nature of the Russian winter opens up. Where there is no salt and dirt on the streets, where the roads are sprinkled with stone chips, so the car and shoes remain clean for a very long time)) where the severe frost stings the face, but it is very cool and pleasant to walk in such weather in the forest)))

It's warmed up to minus 5°F here in Winnipeg, which is pretty nice for north of the 49th parallel.
Brilliant blue skies the colder it gets!
