2011 Tahoe no crank no start need help

It appears that the truck is in protected mode, if so this sequence of steps may help you. what do you need? > cell phone's stopwatch app and a charger to keep your Tahoe's battery alive during the process. Follow the steps in exact order, if you fail in just one, start over. On page 4 you...

2013 Tahoe, Help Needed.Engine quits after key release from start position.

My bets are on a bad switch, bad ground or the anti-theft system going crazy but you definitely need a bi-directional scanner to find out.

The gauge in my truck moves fast as I press the accelerator, you need an external tool to make sure there are no problems before they get worse.

    2007 yukon denali oil leak

Lol, I've lost count of how many times I've shared this video here, but I know what it feels like, I'm almost going crazy trying to find the source of this leak. Other possible origins: valve covers, oil pressure sensor and an unlikely but not impossible cause, a hairline crack in the engine...

2013 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 gas problem help!

Check your vapor canister purge valve solenoid, if you find carbon pellets there go ahead and change the entire evap system at the same time: both solenoids and the vapor canister. When doing so you should blow out all the fuel lines with compressed air and if possible wash the gas tank. In the...

Escalade dies after driving a while and comes to a stop

Is possible, the pellets get into the entire engine, I found them in the intake manifold, the purge valve, the injectors (fragments) and in the fuel/vapor lines. In my case, the fuel pump took the brunt of it, additionally, if the purge valve is stuck, a vacuum leak is created that can cause...

Escalade dies after driving a while and comes to a stop

Something similar happened to me recently, check out my post: https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/summoning-the-geniuses-of-the-forum-problem-accelerating-from-a-stop-hill-engine-stumble-updated.149097/ Conclusion: Bad fuel pump and carbon pellets all over the lines. Replacing the pump...

Need a little help with CANBus trouble.

A few years ago something similar happened to me, basically everything is connected to the can bus: A/C, radio, seats, some lights, etc. Usually above the pedals there is a can bus switch or splice, disconnect everything except the computers required to start the engine, if the engine start...

Summoning the geniuses of the forum: Problem accelerating from a stop / hill, engine stumble [updated]

 The cleaning helped a lot, at the moment the problem is fixed, it hasn't failed for 3 days. Sometimes has a rough idle, but I've already ordered the pump and it's on its way from Miami, buying it here in Colombia is a scam, the dealer charge me three times the price plus taxes and I'm...

Quick update: The rain delayed me a bit but I finished the cleaning process, some injectors were dirty but nothing out of the ordinary, all working, new gaskets for everything; unfortunately the problem continues. Tomorrow I'm going to test the fuel pressure parked and driving.

That's the point, I already have one catch can installed o_O, I don't know if it's not working properly, maybe I should relocate it.

    2009 Tahoe won’t start

How is the mega fuse? Look up on Youtube how to perform a voltage drop test as that can shed a lot of light on what is going on, remember: voltage does not equal current. A battery can have the correct voltage but not have enough current to even activate the starter solenoid.

Summoning the geniuses of the forum: Problem accelerating from a stop / hill, engine stumble [updated]

Ok, I started the cleaning process, this is what I found so far: - Small coolant leak in a hose, easy to fix. - EVAP solenoid hose very brittle (I'm going to change it) - Partially open throttle body, with a considerable layer of sticky oil and carbon, the gasket was crushed and in very poor...

Thanks for your reply, you're right, sometimes getting good spare parts is difficult. This is the second pump on the truck, the first one died a few miles ago due to gasoline contaminated with dirt.

Nope, but what I did try was to test with the sensor unplugged and the hesitation occurs anyway. So for now that sensor I think may be out of the equation.

As far as I know there is no separate IAC on a 2011, it's part of the throttle body.

Hi TYF friends, I'm having a hard time finding a diagnosis for this problem on my Tahoe (2007, stock Engine 5.3, RWD, 218.000mi, 275/55/R20) so I humbly ask for your collective help, sorry for the long post: When accelerating from a stop the engine acts as if it freezes for 1 second, as if I...

    Engine overheating 2013 tahoe

Hi! Adjust the coolant level, go for a 15 minute drive, park in a quiet place and usually the leaks can be heard like a steam machine. It's not a bad idea to change the thermostat, it costs 10 dollars and is a easy job of 1 hour at most.

Is this a crazy idea to cool my 4L60E transmission?

Ook ok, mics on, the data arrived! After driving for 5 hours on hilly roads and all the seats occupied, the maximum temperature reached was 179º F, min. 160º F. It's not bad at all and it's much "cool" than what I achieved before, although I must also take into account that the other radiator...
