HELP!! 07 Escalade front shock absorbers with dampening connectors?

There is no electrical connector. It attaches to the top of the shock's shaft. You can see what it looks like by unhooking it. You unhook it by pushing the release towards the shock's shaft. See the pic I attached.

    Quick fix didn't work

I did the same mod. I didn't flare, but I did use 2 hose clamps on each side and it has not leaked a drop since.

I don't know if this applies to your rig, but since you've not gotten any other responses, take a look at the following link and see if it helps. http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/escalade-heated-cooled-seat-fix.78105 Hope this helps.

    Inside of Center Console Missing

Wow. Apparently, impress the customer doesn't last as long as I thought. Was it a GM dealer? if you post some pics of the problem you may get more responses. Good luck.

    Inside of Center Console Missing

Go back to the dealer and make them fix it. You just got the truck, right? They're still in "impress the customer" mode. Give them a chance, they will likely make it right for you.

    new shocks and struts,alignment needed

I didn't do it after changing them out on my rig. I had and still have no weird wear patterns on the tires and it tracks straight. It wouldn't be a bad idea to get the alignment checked since you are now 10 years old and the cost to get it checked pales in comparison to potentially destroying...

    Speaker Install NNBS OEM Head-Unit

Low to mid 90s may satisfy your requirement, but there is no substitute for hearing this with your own ears. What sounds good to others may not be to your liking. Have any friends that have upgraded their systems, even if it is not on this platform that experience is better than just taking...

Remove engine to replace oil pan gasket?!

I could not get the pan out with just dropping the diff (my Esky is AWD). With helping hands, maybe. Doing it myself, I had to completely remove it. I did only have to drop the steering rack, though. Getting it back in was much harder. I had to balance the diff on my chest and then lift it...

Remove engine to replace oil pan gasket?!

I did this on my Escalade a couple weeks ago. Here is the reference I used: http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/cadillac-escalade-ext-esv-forum-2007/612809-diy-replace-oil-pan-gasket-6-a.html I did not remove the front wheels and I broke the plastic wire organizer on the front of the block...

    Broken Throttle Body Post

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that is exactly how that works. If you look at the one that is still intact, it has a hex on the end? So, try grabbing the broken stub with vise grips and see if it turns. Don't wrench hard on it, you don't want to break any plastic bits if this is not the...

    Rear lift gate malfunctioning

This sounds like the lift struts need to be replaced. There are quite a few threads on how to fix. It is not hard or very expensive. Hope this helps.

Did the Denali ever come with heated wind shield wiper fluid?

I don't, sorry. I'm sure you could reach out to them and they would help you. They seemed nice and helpful when I had a question. Good luck.

Exhaust manifolds. Go with long-tube headers.

Best air compressor for truck work?

I'm doing well. Thanks. In my honest opinion, air tools will not work for you on those bracket bolts as it is a tight spot and they have thread locker on them from the factory. I have an aircat 1150 impact wrench and I never even attempted it. Put a boxed-end wrench on them and use one of...

    Service airbag light came on?

If your front sensors are like mine, it would've taken a heck of a hit on that barrier. The sensors are not right behind the bumper, they are directly below the radiator on the frame. As BeenChevy said, put a Tech 2 on it and it will tell you which sensor is bad, if that is what is actually wrong.

Best air compressor for truck work?

Did the Denali ever come with heated wind shield wiper fluid?

I got the AT-37GM and it uses the button. Alphatherm had an ordering option for a 60 amp fuse, so I got that as well. Good luck.

Newbie in need of a bit of help :D

The keys don't work as they don't clear the shifter. Check this thread for more info: http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/escalade-keyfob-on-a-yukon.32601/page-28#post-1054594 and the subsequent pages. Not what you wanted to hear, I'm sure...but hopefully this saves you some time and money.

Mine were intermittent at returning to the home position. I used my Tech 2 to reprogram both door modules with newer calibrations a few months ago and so far so good. I found this for my Escalade CAL ID 20778198 - Resolves mirror reverse tilt issue for DZM - CVN: 000018F8 You can go here...

    My blower keeps running

My guess is that the actuator is OK since it stopped the air flow when you moved it to recirc. Unfortunately, I think this is considered normal behavior. Since it bothers you, you could try some things to workaround it. For example, you could leave it on recirc, or direct the flow to the...

    2011 Denali Rear Speaker Recommendations

I put Infinity Kappa 62.9 in the rear doors. They sound good and the impedance is close to the Bose. The newer 62.11 version can be had on eBay for around $100 for a pair. Good luck with whatever you choose. Regards, Mark

    My blower keeps running

Does this happen only when you are moving or also when standing still? If only when moving, try putting the control on recirculate and see if that stops it. Regards, Mark
