I already have tie rods, pitman and and idler arm done. Right now I'm trying to get a job because I had to quit my last one so once I get a new one I'll be getting most of that done, it probably will have to wait till December
I can replace it all myself because i am going to a trade school to be a diesel mechanic and I would be able to use the shop and have my instructor help me out. I might as well buy, UCAs with pre pressed bjs, new cam bolts, and bushings and do it all at once. Wouldn't hurt considering they are...
Tie rods were replaced in august thinking that's what the popping was and it didn't fix it, I've checked bjs with the pry bar and there is no play. I feel it in the steering wheel and if it is the mounts then it makes sense that I feel it in the wheel because it's part of the suspension
Yeah I live in Maryland and everything on that truck is rusted underneath so I guess that's a good possibility. Didn't realize how many different things could be causing that pop. This is going to take a while to figure out

The explanation was good, but when you mean flashed do you just mean like a tune from blackbear. And I have the flexfuel 5.3 so would I need different injectors or fuel rails
Ok. And what else did you need to do when you did the 6.0 swap. I know I need the ecm but is there anything else I'd need. I don't know for sure if I'm doing this but it's a hell of a lot cheaper then buying a newer truck.
I have a question for all the 6.0 guys. What transmission do you have hooked up to it? Will a 4l60e be able to handle the power or is it better just to go with an 80e
Depends on width of wheel, that size is 33.6 and I have 33.3s on a 10 wide and I had to do some trimming and sometimes backing up over a bump I'll hear it slightly rub on the wheel well liner. If you go with 9 wides and some trimming on the lower valance then yes you can do it no problem, even...
