Started the base latch part that holds the lid down. I had to adjust the scale in 3Ds Max to match my slicer program. I figure I'm about 80% done with it after a few test prints. Today I remove that top lid so I can start the measuring for the parts needed. I have none of the stock parts as the lid was screwed down and would not open. I've started 3D modleing the release system for that pesky top lid latch. (If you have a broken system? You know what I'm talking about!) I found good pictures of the parts so plan to 3D Print them to fix my lid. Think I may put "Bomb Release" On that button. :laughing1:- Jeff Groves

Well. I did clean the 2000 Escalade a little bit. And changed the wiper blades after they kind of lost the rubber parts in a major down pour! That was a fun drive! A few months back replaced the WHOLE brake system front to back. Stainless Steel lines and such. Seeing as I retired a year ago...- Jeff Groves

Many think poly is the best upgrade for for areas such as the control arms and such. Not always true! Maybe as a simple 'Buy it and be cool' But there is a performance and longevity trade off. Poly is best for simple street exchange for the stock rubber stuff. Delrin AF? Self lubed with PTFE...- Jeff Groves

The 3.4 I'm building is a cast iron RWD lower end. That gets the FWD 3.4 aluminium heads and all intake systems from a Grand Am GT. A different cam and larger throttle body for the EFI. Plus a few other things I'm not remembering right now.- Jeff Groves
