she had the hanger break on the denali about an hour from home. it either finished breaking the muffler, or just allowed it to fall , but the pipe was dragging. our god daughter was following her at the time, and they had jb weld, and a bikini top between them, so seeing it was just...

know several guys with diesels here in michigan, and cant say i have heard of them having issues. they may start a little harder when it is good and cold, otherwise they will crank off fine, most give them a little extra warm up time if good and cold tho just because.

    Heat on 82° only

i got so used to hearing it buzz in my avalanche that i completely ignored it in the tahoe. the funny part is that it wasnt as important in the avy as it didnt have the digital climate control. But that does make sense, and if that is all and i know i can turn the heat up and get hot air i...

    Heat on 82° only

this is good to know, i need to read my tahoe and see if i have any codes with it. i am getting an odd acting heat. figuring blend doors, but not sure. it will work normal for about 20-30 min then blow cold/ambient air ( not a/c) but if i crank the temp to max it will go back to hot. will be...

    Idiots Are Everywhere!

i dont think it is as generational as it seems, it seems to be more societal. the gimmie and i deserve, am entitled ect. just so happens that it falls in line with the typical perceived millennial mindset, but as the generation younger than them is the same or worse, it is more widespread than...

i just got this as a replacement for the last one i had. it dont get used much in the summer, but for this winter it will be jumping back and forth between a car, 2 bikes, and 2 mowers. and i have been eyeballing a solor unit for the burb, as it sits for month or longer at a time usually...

8 lug and HD axles on a 1500

honestly being that your not going over the stock rated capacity i would say put good tires ( e rated) and the bolt on easy brake upgrades and just be ready to service it regularly knowing your using them to capacity. not that there wouldn't be benefit to do it, but honestly you would be easier...

8 lug and HD axles on a 1500

guess i am gonna be that guy, although i get the reasons i have questions. how much weight are we talking here? simply becase the answers your getting other places are typically true. if your hauling enough weight that you need the durability of 2500 axles, then why wouldnt the control arms...

    My latest Adventure, update 7/11/21

We are in Michigan. It has been sitting for several years now. As far as parts I believe most are there enough to get a driveline and make driveable ( or make a race car ect). I believe the title said 90. The Camaro is a 91 and actually with air in the tires and a battery it would go down...

    My latest Adventure, update 7/11/21

Turned out pretty damn decent I think. I try to remember and take it to shows and thins with me. And the bearing still turns so the whole wheel still spins. We welded cam bolts to the bearing so I bolted the hub/rotor to the wheel, and I just spin off the legs for transport. Downfall is...

    My latest Adventure, update 7/11/21

And one other project I did a few years ago that I am sure you guys will enjoy. These where the stock wheels off the 40th anniversary grand prix we had, the chime was peeling in the bead and they leaked and just sucked, so I decided I would do something good with at least one. ( Any hopefully...
