i do a fair bit of towing usually cars and such. so 5-8k which puts me in the middle to high end of the 1500 tow range ( for the trucks i own) little things like that wdh makes a very big difference. and even though i probably don't NEED to run them on my 2500 out of good habit i continue to ...
abs pump should be under the drivers seat ( on the rail)
take a look at the rest of the lines also. if needed something like the dorman stainless kit will come with all that. otherwise it would probably be easier to just to make the line. ( i often end up just getting some hard line an reuse...
welcome from michigan, personally i would consider snow tires for your stock wheels ( or a set of 17/18 stock wheels for reduced cost of tires,) and run your larger wheels that stick out early spring to late fall. this would give you better traction in the bad weather without thowing crap all up...
seems odd they didnt fold flat. all 4 of my trucks do/did.
however my tahoe did not have a 3rd row when i got it as he kept it for the newer one he got. which is fine, as the cargo area is small enough i would never have it in anyway.
my burb i leave 3rd out unless i need it. which is rare...
Have to watch asphalt esp on hit days, the weight of the especially a truck on a jack or stands will sink in. So your metal will continue to come in handy.
you would think, but much like humans they sometimes do unexplainable things for unexplainable reasons. could be engine movement, or bumps ( or previous bumps that moved wires, ) but it is one of the common things for odd things to happen.
bottom line is there are only so many componets to...
have also used some rectangle pieces of thin carpet ( think like indoor/outdoor carpet) as something to lay on. a same buddy also uses some plastic sheets that are corrugated like cardboard ( think thick yard signs)
where are you located? it would be curious to hook up and do some data logging when it does this.
as mentioned above is probably tps and or actuator, or the position sensor on the pedal. unless you have a wiring issue, which there has been known issue to the tps. seems like dorman has a...
an option would to just have a 2wd trans rebuilt ( buy a used that needs work) and just have it built to hold. may need tuning, will need a 2wd rear driveshaft, and either 2wd hubs swapped in or the outers put back in. (there is some debate on some brands, but why chance it) then just take out...
i have 285/70/17 on our stock 03 denali XL. so i would hope that much. we do have a touch of rub on a couple plastics but that is all. but with saw and hammer as big as you want. i was going to run some 315/70/17 on my stock tahoe, but i would have had to do a little for for sure, but i am ok...
i have ran into once before on a 2001 grand prix i had several years ago, had a draw that would kill the battery in a day or so. could not find the issue. checked fuses, to the point i started unplugging things under the dash and under the hood to try and isolate the issue, still died! the issue...
i am sure i am bias, but here is more thoughts.
cliff notes : if had to have only one, it would be a burb/XL , as there is just not enough difference to make up for the lack of room in the short one.
as you can see from my signature i have had more long wheelbase than short ( the avalanche...
