Look for the “Free Safety Inspection” coupon from your local GM dealership online or paper. Emphasize your concern of suspension being monkey’d with.
They’ll give you a free $5,000.00 estimate on what needs to be done. Walk away with their offer for $8h ea z55 struts and, if needed buy them off...
Perfect timing. I’ve had my ricochet.com kit since ‘20. Sold the ‘08 YXL Denali before I had a chance to install it. The 09 Escalator :D is getting a complete front end refresh in Jan with a new rack for its 190k Mi birthday.
Just pulled this out of the rear cargo storage box and threw it in...
Ohhh, that was a good look into the Duraburb garage. Nice to know you can drop my 09 Esky body onto the 2017+ 3500 / 1Ton chassis.
That’s also the 1st overhead look I’ve had at the dual tank set up.
Welcome from SoCal. Our Denali XL with black / black was Summer do’able. 10-13 or All 2500 have separate front / rear a/c & heat units. The factory remote start will pre cool the truck in 5-10 min.
The Ex. oil burners are great trucks. I wanted one, but slim pickings on this coast. I didn’t...
That was a great post to add. If you’ve got the LS motor, whichever one, simply make sure it has a truck cam and you’re all set.
The 3/4 & 1T 6.0L L96 truck motor is an excellent drop in solution. It has no AFM, alum heads, iron block and runs reg gas. Simply drop in and tune out trucks AFM...
WTF?!?
GM, WOT are you doing? Now Microsoft is reporting diesel is going away?

I probably mentioned a cam swap in my other car. I never had the chance to break the L92 or L9H motors to justify a cam swap in them, yet. These damn GM Gen IV 400hp motors are so reliable, they’re almost boring (sometimes :D)
Gotcha, if you live in a neighborhood, then you know it best. The hot ticket for ding dong doorbell in SoCal right now is a new version….
Kick the front door as hard as you can 2-3x then run. I was at risk for eating lead paint when I was younger, not sure what the poor kids are exposed to now...
Welcome from SoCal. Nice pull on the Esky. Don’t worry, they’ll look down over their glasses at you for a while if you keep it too clean.
The trailer, if that’s yours, it’s probably paid for itself a few times over by now.
The internet is everywhere forever. A picture of a unicorn truck interior. Visual directions how to access a personalized asset? Maybe consider an edit of a pic after sleeping on things for a few nights.
It’s the first sentence you’ll lose sleep over. The rest is fine.
Only my wife and new...
Welcome from SoCal. Congrats on the milestones. A 200k Camry is typical. Expect about 400k from a diesel Tahoe or Yukon. You posted in the right forum for a look into these GM trucks. I especially like the household appliance analogy on sister brands made by the same company.
On getting a new...
Cool truck. Lots of nice features & options. In 07 it could be for the diversity antenna in the rear pass side glass that looks like defroster lines, if you didn’t get power fold or rear heated seats it could be for that.
Could possibly be for future wiring for a 2nd / 3rd row DVD monitor if...
If you have the Standard / Short wheel base your captains chairs will fit any 07-14 full size SUV
But ….
You’ll need the bench from a SWB Escalade or Denali as both of them have the 60/40 power fold option, outboard heated seats the specific base bracket that fits in a SWB truck.
Some higher...
You’ll see the condensation drain behind the rear pass side wheel if you want to verify after you get out of the truck. Mine usually unloads at least a cup from the front & back on the ground when the humidity is high.
The truck has had SpecD aftermarket headlamp assemblies installed that are running H1 halogen filled incandescent bulbs. You’re retrofitting aftermarket LED bulbs.
07-14 do not like non factory led lamps installed in locations where HID or incandescent bulbs were originally installed.
Are you...
