    I lived this. Original trans died at 60,000 miles. Rebuilt by GM under partial good will warrantee as it had routine maintenance by dealer. At 130,000 miles had the trans flushed. Thought I was doing a good thing. 150,000 miles trans failed again......

    My 04's owners manual is very ambiguous about this, saying it may show a reading or just throw a warning light when low. I've only seen the warning light. For you guys that are getting the readings in the DIC, how does it come up? Thanks

    Slight stumbling when cold is often caused by a bad intake manifold gasket. Common problem.

    I'd replace the belt tensioners also. I'm at 157,000 miles. Pump was already replaced but belts and hoses are original. So I'm replacing those along with the tensioners. Better to do it at your connivence then along the side of the road.....

    Red, I went from a 2004 Tahoe (NBS) stock brake to a 2008 Tahoe (NNBS) stock brake. Calipers were direct bolt on, no additional brackets needed. Obviously new rotors also.     You'll need to drive it more for the temperature to get warmer. Mine reads about the same on my 7min drive to work. On the highway it reads about 150-160 without a load.

    Thanks fiatdale.......I was looking to keep as much ride quality as I could so I didn't want to go any bigger. Batman, I have the Belltech 2/3 kit. Only have about 20 miles on it so it's still settling. Sharp eye on the LEDS.....

    Here's mine, just finished yesterday. Just at about 34 rear, 33 front. The 20's are new to me...hope this helps. I plan on doing some towing so I also have the 60742 Airlift air bags.

    OHSIXX, I really like the ride. Along with the 2/3 kit I rebuilt the front end as the truck had 157,000 miles on it. The 20" wheels are new to me. BADRIDES; Rear sits right at 34" and the front at 33", both +or- 1/4". Fosscore was very influential in get me started on this project...
