    I had the same type intermittent problem when I put my Alpine HU in. Didn't start right away after the install. Put an additional ground to radio chassis. No change. Remove HU again, put dialetric grease on each connector to HU and adaptors for OEM wiring, problem solved.

    Welcome...... Common issue with several solutions. I used the pre bent lines from the dealer. Came with everything including fittings and are coated so should last the life of the truck. Best part they were about $110 total.

    I've solved a couple of strange electrical issues by disconnecting the battery, waiting 10+ minutes, ground the positive lead and wait a few more minutes. No guarantee but then it doesn't cost anything either. Good luck....
