    277k on it today. Change oil every 3k with synthetic. Reman trans at 215k and reman transfer case at about 170k. All steering and suspension done. I love this thing.

    What the consensus on running LT tires vs P tires on our trucks? I occasionally tow but its just a DD most times. Also, will running larger diameter tires cause premature wear on the transmission? I'd like this truck to last as long as possible

    Inlaws have a 94 k1500 suburban. I installed All AC Delco Professional pitman arm, idler arm/bracket, tie rods, sway bar endlinks. I used the string method for toe until i get an alignment. Today is rag joint and adjusting the steering gear to reduce slop.

    Keep us updated. Im doing the rag joint in my inlaw's k1500 today. There is NO need to remove the steering gear to replace pitman arm. All you do is remove sway bar, and remove the steering gear bolts on the frame and you can move it just enough to get use your 34mm socket with impact on it...

    Thanks. I like all those options. Well, My wife surprised me with a set of Yitamotor with heated/power/side turn signal mirrors. They were packaged well and obviously Chicom. I'll see how these work out and report back.

    Rear lift gate glass hinge seperation?!

    I used JB weld on my one hinge. It busted again. Its very hard to keep it lined up to dry. I may get a junkyard one and use glue in future if it breaks away too.
