Howdy. Wanting to block off/isolate the rear heater core as I do not use it. This to avoid future failure, etc..
Any of you guys know a practical way to do this ?
Thank you
Pete
Howdy....I want to keep the lights off when I drive in the daytime. I have the fuse pulled on the DRL. I went to DIC and turned off entry and exit lighting. BUT....the dang lights still come on when I start.
The rotary control knob for lighting will not stay in the OFF position as it defaults...
Got a plain ole radio antenna installed on my 2012 Tahoe today. Now my radio picks up the FM stations I like locally. Radio has xm or whatever it is that I don't care for. It would not get the FM stations at all before on the stock antenna in the rear glass.
OK. I see how now. I need to crawl under it tomorrow and see about those holes in the frame....I have not noticed them as of yet. Thanks for the ebay info...got 'em watchlisted...Pete
Great Forum and I am learning a lot about my Tahoe. One thing I have not seen mentioned is the holes in the front of the "bumper cover" that are down even with the fog lites. These holes line up with the frame rails. Looks like there is something that goes in these, but don't know what. Can...
I got 'er done. I used the jack method to raise the rear of the trans, as was outlined here. Got it finished today. No leaks yet...ha ha. Thanks for all the good suggestions for this job. 2 or 3 or7 heads are sure better than one ! thank you
Man, that sounds like a lot of work on my back !
It almost comes out. I am gonna fiddle with it tomorrow. I like the idea of lifting the back of the trans better than messing with that PIA exhaust !!
I will give a report here tomorrow if I ain't too down in the back to type ..ha ha ha ha
Thank...
Nope....loose...just won't come out. No room between the trans and the exhaust pipe. I can move it all around, and it almost comes out..but something in the trans is protruding down enough to stop it from sliding out. !!!
thank you
Howdy. Unbolted easily. Not a lot of room with the exhaust right under it. Don't want to slide out. Jamming on somethhing in the trans.....by the way...I am a viet vet also....groundpounder '68 to '69.
Thanks, Pete
