Not true.. The back unit uses an expansion valve. When the system is low on charge slightly the front will suck and the rear will still seem to be good and cold. You gotta remember tho...its electronic climate control man.. So if you have it cranked to the warmest setting, got the cabin incredibly warm as hell (way over 80F) and then go to turn it down, then YES the air will become cold. It becomes cold because now you have set it to the mid range or... -

Interior temperature sensor(s) wrong?
Definitely need to check the cabin sensors. Helps to have a tech2 to do this. Basically, turn the car on and let it run for a few mins to stabilize the inside temps. Buy a quality thermometer (like one for measuring temps while cooking foods, etc.) Those stupid fridge thermometers are garbage... -

Hey chris. A couple years late but better late than never LOL.. Look closely at the climate module. Some early models have the AC on with no snowflake and when u press the AC button the symbol is a snowflake with a Slash through it...indicating AC is requested off. Sometime, they changed it... -

Exactly. Unplug right at the compressor, start car, turn ac on at head unit and check for 12+volts right there at the connector to the compressor. Careful of the fan and drive belt! Also, dont stuff the meter leads into the connector, just touch the terminals. You dont want to spread them... -

I'll take a picture of the inside and post when I get a chance. But it is kinda weird. The outside looks like the 01 to 05 models. The inside does as well...except the instrument cluster doesnt look like the 03 and up models and my yukon is a cable driven throttle, not drive by wire Sent from...- UmmScott

Service Airbag light

K. You jumped that plug but the clutch still didnt come on? You need a meter to diagnose properly further. I would unplug the compressor clutch and check to see if 12V are present at the clutch connector. If you have 12V at the clutch connector and the AC light is on, then your clutch is bad... -
