Did mine this morning. Pretty straight forward job. Got it done in just over a few hours doing one side at a time. So far it seems tighter.

I changed out the stub axle bearings and seals this morning. Bearings didn't look that bad. I did have one seal leaking so I'm glad I did it. Wasn't a huge job. Went pretty quick. Drove it around town and it seems smoother but I wont know for sure until I get it on the freeway. I did also notice...
I'm about to replace mine. I rebuilt my entire front end, have new tires and still get a vibration. I found mine had about the same amount of play that you were talking about. I have the bearing and seal kit. I'm just waiting on the bearing puller I ordered.

I had a really nice Dewalt impact in used on everything because I got tired of all the air tools. One day I left my garage open when I was inside. A few weeks later I noticed the impact and the drill were gone. Tweakers.. lol

I've been chasing a front end vibration that is now showing about 35/40mph. This is what I've found. Can this be the culprit?

Sometimes larger wheels can exaggerate any bit of wear you have in your suspension. Also, unevenly worn tires can cause issues too. I was fighting it forever until I replaced all of my front suspension and tires. It's good at 60 all day. Recently I've developed a vibration at 75/80 that gets...
The auto ride springs sit lower because the air shock is part of the suspension. If you swap to non auto ride springs it will stiffen it up and get it a bit higher. I would definitely do the helper bags instead because it gives you adjustability for the load. They are made by Air Lift and go...
