Ok I figured this all out and got it lowered back down in the front. The keys were all the way in and the front was nearly an inch higher. Drives alot smoother now not as loose and bouncy in the front. Thanks for all the help guys. I post before and after pics on the what did you do to your nbs...
Finally got around to lowering the front end since the previous owner thought it'd be nice to use the torsion keys and Jack the front up almost an inch higher than the rear. Hardest part was finding some fairly level ground. Other than that it was a simple task. I did notice that no matter where...
Thanks for the replies guys. I'm now curious about this under console idea. Gonna do some research on it.

I considered lowering mine all the way down but, as is it's nearly impossible. You can't tell in my pics but , my amp is actually sitting on top of 2x4s because it was too long and would not clear the metal seat bracket. If you look closely it kinda looks like the amp is sitting on top of the...
Thanks that is probably what I will end up doing. Although I did realize today that the back of the seat does not fold all the way down with the equipment in this position. I considered relocating them but, I can't think of a safer more well protected place.
In the pic you posted it's hard to...
So I just hooked up my new amp and capacitor and can't decide exactly how/where I want to mount them permanently. I'm curious to see what others have done and what kind of mounting brackets or platforms people are using. Keep in mind it's just one amp and one 2farad capacitor. I'm not looking...
Nice I want to re do mine (black Tahoe) but, I may just wait since I want the escalade style vents anyway.

The 285/65/18s I have now are on an 8.5 with just about stock back spacing. I have no issues and feel like if I were to go with a wider deeper wheel I may be able to get a little taller tire. I'm not thinking like 35" boggers or anything just a little more meat.lol

Ok so my current tires are in pretty decent shape but, chrome is peeling pretty bad. I'm not particularly fond of the wheel style anyway so I figured why spend the money to have them dipped rather than just get a new set that I actually like.
I'd like to go with a 20"x10"-12" wheel but , I am...
Thanks for the write up. I will be do I g this soon.
As for what I accomplished this weekend .....
I have been buying stereo components over the last couple weeks since I installed my double din DVD player in the dash I bought from Tahoewhat.
The plan was to attempt a craigslist special...
I have a meg clay bar kit with lubricant and 2 bars. I was going to use it the other day but, it was too hot. The lubricant was evaporating as soon as I started rubbing and the bar would stick to my paint. I'm going to try on a cooler day.

Ok I would like to shine my factory black paint back up. I black boxed it and it looked ok but , I could still see the aged paint. On top of this issue I recently had accident damage repaired in the rear so it looks brand new from the rear doors back.
So what are my options? Wet sand? Hardcore...
Did my own LED conversion. It's supposed to be UV. Although it didn't glow like I expected I like. Everyone does blue and I tried red and hated it so I figured I'd try something I hadn't seen. Pics aren't the greatest but, I think you guys get the point. Will be doing the rest of the interior soon.
