BTW if you ever have any questions about car care you can email Zaino and one of the brothers will get back to you. Usually within the hour. Nice people. Email address on their contact page.
Last year I bought my 2010 Denali AWD with the entertainment, nav, premium paint, sunroof, etc. for approx $56,600 out the door (including tax and license).
I think the sticker was maybe $62k or so not including tax/license.
I waited them out and they eventually agreed to my offer.
Don't be. It's lousy. There have been several other threads about what a stinker the GM nav is. I had to turn my Garmin on to get me out of a city when the GM nav had gotten me lost twice. Had them both going. Good example - went something like:
Garmin: "In one quarter mile take the Deerpark...
First, try cleaning and tightening your battery cable connections. Strange things can happen if they aren't tight.
My vette acted demon possessed until I did this very simple thing. Seemed like they were tight, but they weren't tight enough.
Just cleaned then tightened the heck out of them and never had a problem again. It seemed like they were tight before but ....
This was not an unusual problem and was one of the first things us newbs learned on the corvette forum.
That and use Chevron with Techron which I guess helped keep...
I agree. My Vette had the same problems. Even though the cables were tight they weren't tight enough/clean enough. Seems the computer just cannot cope with varying voltages and strange things will happen.
(Oops sorry. Didn't see that last post.)
Not sure if this is the same problem as you, but I had the same sensation with my Vette. Drive over a bug and it felt like it was hopping around and ready to launch.
Turns out it was due entirely to those @#$% runflat tires with their stiff walls. Put some non runflats on and my problem was...
I have a 95 Grand Marquis that I've had for 15 years. Refuses to give me an excuse to get rid of it. Costs almost nothing to drive. I leave it outside and drive it around town. Absorbs all the dings and other insults that my Vette (since sold) or Denali would have gotten.
Had my Vette for 6...
Well Francis, your teenage hormones are completely out of control. First you yell at me and now you are calling me names. That's so high school.
4600 posts in two years? Is that why you think you own this forum?
Apparently you don't know the meaning of the word bigot. You ... are the...
Great post Francis. Wow! (sarcasm ... in case you missed it)
And thanks for shouting. I had my hearing aid turned down. lol.
Ok, only meaningless mindless platitudes when someone asks for opinions.
Oh wait, who are you to decide? If you don't like real opinions then I'm sure there...
Baloney Francis. Your lecture sounds like a prissy 20 year old kindergarten teacher..."Play nice children."
What part of "Let me know what you guys think" don't you get?
You don't have to agree with our opinions. Just like we don't have to agree that the mods look good....especially those...
I agree. I was wondering if I was the only one on this forum that did not consider it an improvement.
When I joined the forum I was questioned as to what mods I was going to make. Answer...none..it's a new car and I like it just like it is ...that's why I bought it.
Went out and tried it on mine. My Viper ?3303? 2 way is about a year old. Did not purchase remote start feature but Viper works well. I paid extra for the long range 2 way remote.
Android App Remote Start works ok....BUT...you must turn off the Viper Alarm first or it goes off and then car...
My two cents on FMS (2010 Denali):
Just got back from a long trip from SoCal to Florida and points in between. On those long desert stretches.....Texas is too #%^& big....watched the FMS and found the following.
If it was flat, and I kept the cruise control speed to about 45 or less, the...
I had an Audi that did this trick. I would be driving along and it would just stop. All systems off. Dealer was clueless, finally I had to leave it and they left it running in their lot. They finally gave up and replaced the computer and that fixed it.
I also had a Vette that when I first...
Amen to that. I've ranted a couple of times here on what a third rate piece of crapola that thing is. In 17k miles of road trips so far, mine has gotten me lost/wrong road/bad route numerous times. Garmin - never once gotten me lost. If it is the least bit iffy I have started using my Garmin as...
