Hey guys.

New to the forum but I know first hand how helpful they can be (corvette forum saved me $3500 on my ZO6)

I have a problem with my 2008 LTZ.

During the day I can not see (or just barely see) my odometer, PRND, or stereo displays (factory DVD, Bose, no nav). Its as if the dimmer is set all the way to "low".

This only happens during the day time. However, if I am driving for around 45 minutes or longer, all of a sudden they will usually "come on/brighten up", but if I stop and cut it off, same problem on restart.

I have zero issues at night and doesnt matter how "high" I have the dimmer set or what headlight settings I have (auto etc.)

My friends dont have this issue.

Great forum and any help would be greatly appreciated before I head to the dealer.

Maybe something is wrong with your light sensor that detects daytime/nighttime ?

First, try cleaning and tightening your battery cable connections. Strange things can happen if they aren't tight.

My vette acted demon possessed until I did this very simple thing. Seemed like they were tight, but they weren't tight enough.
