    What hose is this?

You need a new drain plug. That tube you mentioned is where the coolant drains out of when you release the drain plug. Dormant part 61133

Who makes the best brake drums/shoes?

Well I purchased it when it had about 75k miles and I have never touched the rear brakes. I don't recall if the last owner ever did either. At the moment I'm just assuming they're original but we will see once they come off. Man, $1300, that's a SSBC drum to disc conversion kit right there...

Who makes the best brake drums/shoes?

I've actually been in the same boat trying to replace everything that needs replacing with Delco or Delphi. I believe you have your acronyms confused. OE is original equipment, anything that came on these off the assembly line. OEM is original equipment manufacturer which AC Delco and Delphi...

Who makes the best brake drums/shoes?

Has anyone tried the Duralast drums? They're $57 a pop and I know I can get them to check they're true and round while I pick them up. They carry the same 2 year warranty as the Delcos also. I know a lot of people and shops go with the Duralast pads and rotors and don't have any complaints.

Who makes the best brake drums/shoes?

What did you go end up going with Derek? I need to do my rears also and have bought everything but the drums. I went with AC Delco's Professional line for the shoes, adjuster kits, spring kits and wheel cylinders. I was thinking about the Professional Delco drums but two of three reviews on...

    95 Tahoe...plastic affords

I used a heat gun, my hands, a drill, and a rubber eraser wheel. As stated, start off at one corner and slowly pull as you heat up the adhesive. Don't worry if you leave a lot of adhesive on the body, that's what the eraser wheel is for.

    Custom guages

Man, those are pretty nice but $900 is insane. I've seen some nice custom stock clusters done for less than $100. I want to add LEDs behind the needles themselves to make em light up. I need to find my Escalade needles or buy another set .

What did you do to your OBS GMT400 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Friday: Cleaned and recharged Volant filter, long overdue. You could tell the difference a clean air filter makes, Tahoe felt way lighter. Replaced PCV valve and hose just because I got both for $13. Today: Flushing the radiator. I've been running a mix of water and two bottles of Prestone...

What did you do to your OBS GMT400 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Did the engine oil cooler delete. One of the hoses had a leak as did the adapter itself. I had replaced the lines and a new gasket at the adapter about 40K miles ago, didn't want to deal with it again. I look forward to replacing my filter next oil change and not getting oil all over the place...

Spyder Auto Headlights, Are they Junk?

HIDs are run in projectors all the time straight from the manufacturer. In this case you just need to make sure you buy the correct HID bulb. D1S bulbs are designed for projector applications, D1R bulbs are used in reflector housings. R bulbs have a coating painted on to them which help the...

    1995 Yukon 4x4 5.7 TBI Erratic / Surging Idle

If you are still looking at fuel pumps go with either the AC Delco or Delphi. From my research it looks like the AC Delco one is just a rebranded Delphi. I just did my fuel pump two weeks ago and purchased a Delphi for $186 out the door from AutoZone, same price for an AC Delco one if ordered...

What did you do to your OBS GMT400 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Not today but in the past two weeks I dropped the fuel tank and replaced the fuel pump module with the new Delphi unit and did a tune up with AC Delco everything: cap, rotor, ignition module, ignition coil, spark plug wires and Rapidfire spark plugs. This weekend I will hopefully do the engine...

    No Brake Lights

It was the brake light switch as we all suspected. That retainer clip is a PITA to get off; otherwise this would have been a clean and easy install.

    No Brake Lights

From my reading the Tahoe/Yukon does not have the big fuse like the Silverado/Sierra. I looked in the fuse box under the hood and found nothing. I'm currently trying to replace the stop light switch but can't get the damn retainer clip off. Fack you GM and your coked out engineers for this...

    No Brake Lights

Hey guys, been a while since I have been around these parts, I come with a question. My brake lights have decided to quit working! They seem to have been working fine this past Friday but was made aware of the issue yesterday by another driver. Did not drive it over the weekend. Fuses are not...

Yeah, he does not have any ATRs in stock and seeing as they are being discontinued....but he does have the AT3s in stock, which are replacing the ATRs. Going to see if he can work out a deal on those. Here is a direct link to the AT3s http://www.cooperdiscoverer.com/ Tread pattern looks a lot...

Yeah, 60 thousand mile warranty on them and 520 UTQG rating. How hard are they to balance? I think I just might bite on this deal. Last American tire company, can not go wrong, can I?
