    Update: The maker, Tyger Automotive, has never responded, a black mark on their service. I finally found some stainless steel M6 x 60mm button headed screws with the anti-tamper pin. Torx drive, not hex, but they should work. I'll know soon. If they don't work, it's screw cutting time.

    I had a car with that problem, it was in the switch on the column. Still, there are other possibilities as suggested above. I installed a relay controlled direct link to the battery for my headlights so that get the full voltage and that doesn't go through the headlight switch any longer.

    I have a backup camera but haven't installed it yet. I'm thinking that a camera might be more useful on the Yukon since the back doors block more of the view. The Pioneer unit can accept video from a camera, no problem there.

    I'd install a switch in the line to the buzzer, so when doing a task that requires the key in the ignition and the door open, you could simply shut it off.

    I ran into the first problem with this installation. The four cap screws that attach the rack to the cross bows on the OEM rack are too long, making them hit the roof. I've contadted the maker to see if they'll ship shorter ones to me.

    I knew a man that owned a '56 Chevy wagon (not a Nomad) that was mounted on a 1972 Chevy Blazer chassis. I didn't look closely at the wheelbase difference, but it must not have been much. This rig was functional, I observed it being used. I'd not call it desirable, though.

    Neither of my inside door lock buttons work. I suppose I'll end up removing the door cards to see if I can work on the switches to clean them up. If that's not doable, then the search for new switches will commence.

    Yes, the instrument bezel cup holder is fully functional, though the rubber fingers are obviously somewhat dry rotted. I've put a bottle of water in it, didn't seem to strain anything. The cup holders on the back side of the console work as well.
