shaking at high speeds
Could also be a bent rear axle. I had that problem on a Camaro I owned about 20 years ago. Had some shaking at higher speeds and found it one day by jacking up the rear end and putting it in drive. Didn't have to run it at high speed (you should run an unloaded drivetrain at high speed anyway)...- Wake

Service ride control messege??
Could be several things. Each shock is connected to the ride computer along with the air compressor in the rear. You need to scan the body codes to determine what is causing your message. My Escalade had two problems this year, one the left front shock connector was destroyed by years of salt...- Wake

Trouble filling up the gas tank
Only 22 gallons? I thought the Denali had a 26 gallon tank like the Escalade does. And then the ESV is even larger, 31 gallons. OP, thanks for the tip, I'm going to do a little looking into my friend's 06 Denali, she has issues with the SES light and tighten gas cap messages.- Wake

Spare tire Falls OFF!!
Look on ebay. I've seen new OEM units going for around $20 last time I came across them. Make it a practice to once a year or however often you check your spare tire pressure to lower the tire and check the condition of the parts. I check my spare and assembly usually twice a year. -
No Drone
Not a fan of Dynomax mufflers. Another Service 4WD Question with a twist
I'm thinking the encoder motor on the transfer case is the next easy thing to check. With the truck shut off and the key on can you hear the transfer case under the truck shift between the different modes selected? If it's not that then I'd wonder about the computer module for the 4wd...- Wake

In the beginning I got a click until the starter blew one of the fuses labeled IGN, then nothing. DIY: Tahoe Rear Brakes
Are you sure there's no external adjuster? I just did this today but took it all down as you showed so I could inspect the shoes, axle seals, and backing plates while I was at it. I ended up cleaning things up and using rustoleum on the backing plates that are starting to show some rust... -

You probably have a late production 02. GM does that with a lot of late production vehicles, where they start incorporating next years changes into the end run of the current year. I had an 02 Trailblazer and it had DBW.- Wake

Msd ignition 6al
The MSD-6AL won't work on your Denali. It's meant to work with a single coil system where your Denali has a coil for each plug. It's a great unit I have one for my older Corvette, just not useable on our more modern ignition systems.
