New guy here needs some help..
my driver window locks up every once and a while in the full up position. im talking about twice in 8 months. i just take a punch and hit downward on that gear and it works again. then hit it up with some lube.. judging by the rivets on mine someone has replaced the assembly before... i know it...- Ceejkay

Fender Flair
how far do they stick out? i would recommend bushwacker. i have stock flares(99 escalade) and they cover pretty good, about 1 inch with 305/40/22 they look like the equivalent to bushwacker OE style (click here for link) and they are paintable so you can match you paint job on your avatar -
CV/Drive shaft question
how does the sway bar link look? also look at the upper a arm bolt. strange i know but when i bought my truck the nut had one thread left holding it on. i could be wrong but in 2wd it wouldnt click or bump, due to no load..- Ceejkay

One of those weeks. Need help!
wow i pulled up an old post. what was the outcome? sounds like my truck when the crankshaft sensor went out. it didnt show a cel but it does throw a code.. i could be way off on that though.. ohh and be careful with grinding, i have to replace my flywheel from mine grinding- Ceejkay

Bizzarre Vibration
does it do it only when driving or any time its in drive? i would say look into your motor/transmission mounts. i had a jetta that had this problem, when under a load the gas pedal would *vibrate*. basically what was happening is when a load was applied the motor rotated to the right a little...- Ceejkay

i think i might be putting it in backwards.. it would make sense to open the back to get in instead of having to put down the seat every time. but i have nothing to go off of.. the only vehicle i have ever had like this was a 88 suburban and you had to put one of the middle seats down to get to... -

the head rests are not embroidered.. i think im going to have to go to Cadillac and have them take a look at it.. it cool having the 3rd row but if i cant figure out how to install it, its useless. also the seat is on tracks so it moves forward and back, the pics were with it back.. if it is... -

i can do that... it will take me a couple of days to get them up. i have to take out all the kid stuff and pull the seat out of my storage unit. the biggest reason i wanted a 3rd row seat was when family came to town we didnt have to take 2 vehicles to go places..- Ceejkay

im pretty sure the 3rd row seats are stock. the only thing custom to the truck is the rims.. ill do the rare vin check and see what comes up- Ceejkay

Great site you guys have here. A little bit about the truck. I picked it up at the end of feburary from a friend for 900$. The previous owner had let it go for the last 2 years and it needed some work. So far i have replaced the most of the front suspension components, ball joints, tie rod ends...- Ceejkay
