You have it right. I went overboard with a 2 catch can system, why not since is bought it new. Clean side small can has caught almost nothing but that is really intended for a boosted setup (turbo supercharger which I don't have) big can catches a lot. Here is a detailed overview of the 2...
That's about how many miles I had before I had the wheel bearings go. In my case the noise was not too loud but ABS warning light came on. Went through 2 sets in 276,000 miles on my 2001 Yukon XL
I went with weathertech mudflaps. The front flaps had the slot for power steps. Thought it would bug me but I don't even notice it anymore. I just had to get over myself.
GM Upfitters has the electricals. Link below you can download the manual. Page 62 begins ECM connectors.

Are you driving in AUTO mode. I had the same issue (in heavy rain) when I hit puddles in auto Mode (down right dangerous). It was as if any hydroplaning confused the auto system, went to 2WD and problem solved. Powered right through the puddles, since then only use 2WD in the rain.
Love the Pearl and white. Unfortunately everyone I know has white or Pearl white vehicles so I went with red. Black is too 3 letter Agency and a PIA to keep clean.
I once used AUTO in a rainstorm on the highway, caused serious (dangerous) hydroplaning. Turned it off went to 2WD and Drove like a dream. Never used it again, I would rather control the truck then it try to control me. 2WD and if needed 4WD
I bought a first year 2001 Yukon XL and had no problems. other than maintenance in 276K miles. I was liking the form factor of the T1XX but too many changes. Hated the lack of interior height in the K2XX but rushed to buy one before the new platform came out. Bought a 2019 Suburban z71...
Told you I would check my can at 600 miles but here it is at 3500 miles. I caught about 6 ounces and the color of the oil on the dipstick was much better. My first 3 changes the dipstick was very dark, like black. This is after 3rd oil change since new and the oil looks more like I would...
Clean side separator handles Wide Open Throttle situations, helps mostly on boosted engines. I have a CSS can on my stock 5.3 and it hasn't trapped anything. Here is a detailed overview of what the CSS and Dirty side cans do.
i have a 2019 suburban Z71, love it, has had no issues bought new. I wanted the old platform as I was concerned about buying the new platform. I too do not put many miles on it, finally hit 11K. By 2019 the platform is really shaken down. Also have second row bench.
Many here have had plastic heater T connectors fail. @kbuskill thread, newer platform but common cross platform problem
"As we all know, the plastic T-connector "quick disconnects" that connect our heater hoses to the heater core in the front and tee off to the rear heater core are prone to...
There is a front passenger door module in the 2003, it is fuse #16. There is also a fuse for the module pdm under the hood in that fuse block. Hope this gets You close.
I had a similar issue on my GM sedan 2002 Buick LeSabre. The problem was bad contact in the light sockets due to corrosion. Cleaned them out well with contact cleaner, some scrapping and used dielectric grease on the reinstall. All are still working for the last 4 years.
