I figured this out and completed the install. Put up a thread for the install here. http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/sub-and-hidden-amp-install.76533/
Yeah. Why do we have to buy foreign to get these luxuries???? Don't get me wrong here I am crazy about our Tahoe and it is my favorite vehicle I have ever owned but the features are just lacking a bit compared to the foreign groups.
I have this set and they worked great when ever I removed my interior trim to do my vinyl wrap. Mine didn't come with the nice bag thought :(

This seems like just one more thing that can fail... I mean it is really cool and if integrated from the factory it works flawless but these aftermarket systems don't seem to be there yet. I know this isn't helping you in your search just thought it needed to be said because I have heard of...
LCi2 in center console storage for fine tuning sub or turning off on the fly. Very important in my opinion.
Can't even see with organizer in there

So I decided to put a system in the Tahoe as it is very hard to convince myself not to when I had a JL 10W3v3 and JL SlashV2 500/1 amp just laying around. I do not have detailed pics of everything as I am very bad at taking the pics when I am doing mods and installs. With that being said I do...
It is so close but it is just missing something... I didn't clear coat mine but if you do the clear coat it does seem a lot closer of a color match. But for a bumper I would just swap with someone who has a painted bumper and get it painted to match your truck. Let's not rub it anyone face but...
Thanks for getting the thread back on topic! Yeah, once you see how good it looks you end up just itching to do it elsewhere. Nice thing about plastidip is if it doesn't look good you just peel it off!
LOL, I think it's funny that this thread turned into how much everyone dislikes my bug shield, instead of how to platidip your WDT badges. I will just be removing the forbidden bug shield after my trip.
Thought about that but the color match is not absolutely perfect which is not noticeable on the badges but on something as large as the bug shield I think would be very noticeable.
I can't believe all the people out there that dislike the bug shield so much. After the road trip I will remove...
If you are talking about the VLEDs then yes no issues. That is what you see in the pics. I didn't even take off the bumper to install just unscrewed the fender wells and reached in

Yeah, sorry man. Know anyone with an old DDM kit that you could just give it a try? Or wait is "old DDM kit" and oxymoron.... just kidding.
Just call them and explain and see if they will waive their restocking fee if it doesn't work
So I did speak with TRS yesterday to let them know that I got my HIDs working with the replacement bulb wires they sent. When on the phone I asked them if there were others that complained of this issue and I also brought up the issues that you guys where having. They told me that there was a...
If you are interested in doing this here is what I used.

Pearlizer Plastidip...
Yeah I thought the quality sucked too . The front "projector lens" just rattled around in there and they did not fit in the housing with the o-ring left on. The output is about half of the VLEDs
Sure, see post #23 for the link to the switchbacks and here is the link to the VLED fogs http://www.vleds.com/bulb-type/fog-lights/5202/10-led-drl-fog-light-bulbs-5202-1-pair-2957.html
I had the OPT7 bulbs you recommended and sent them back as they were to blue for me. The VLEDs are a perfect...
