Replaced the 20" chrome clads with 22" factory wheels. Gotta say, does ride better with the new wheels and tires.
CK 375s with Bridgestone Dueler 285/45/22 .
This, there's no way in hell you should use these horns as a main horn. They are pretty cool and loud and in the rite situation effective.
Have you tried fixing your horn? For me its been an annual cleaning of the connections to the horns.
That's when if was time for me to trade in the 05'. The list of repairs was getting longer and longer. Mainly nuisance items like rear window wouldn't open, rear hatch wouldn't lock or unlock at the worst times, speedometer would stop sporadically, A/C compressor leaked, climate controls flaked...
Our 05" was doing this also. Do you notice excessive heat from that tire, especially after highway driving with little use of the brakes. I did have a bad wheel bearing, while removing the brakes the outboard pad was seized by a bent mounting bracket. After replacing that along with rotors...
Just what I was looking for, except for those tires. Anyone ever run these tires? These would go on our 09' LTZ, we use it as a daily driver here in the snow belt.
Wheel bearing failure. ABS code is the final factor. The speed sensor inside the hub assembly fails. When this happens the ABS sees this as a wheel spinning at a speed different from the other wheels and activates the ABS system. If it's not happening yet, your ABS system may start applying the...
Didn't feel the drag in the beginning but did later, the drivers side pads were worn a little more (believe outside pad only). The drag came on slowly but definitely was noticeable after the fix. No real visual inspection, was really hard to remove the pads from bracket an the new pads had to be...
I had the same issue on my '05. Changed the bearing which was bad but realized the caliber mounting bracket had warped. The pads would not move freely causing the excess heat. It wasn't terrible at first but did get way worse. Actually went through 3 brackets from AutoCrap and O'Reillys...
I like it the way of it looks now. Some new wheels with a little less chrome or no chrome would look good. This coming from someone that's not a fan of blacked out. If you do decide to black it out, I'll buy your roof rack.
