    System update question?

I realize I need to bring it into the dealer for this update. I just wanted a paper copy of the text of what is stated in the TSB in case the dealer has no clue what I'm talking about. I keep having the "Check Reverse Lamp" warning pop up and this new software update is supposed to fix it. I'm...

    System update question?

Anyone have an actual copy of this TSB #21-NA-044 mentioned here? I can't seem to find it anywhere on line.

    Front License Plate Holder

You can always get some of these to plug the holes: https://www.bonanza.com/booths/Licenseplateplugs I did this to my 2016 Yukon that came with the front license plate holder that I removed. By-the-way, excellent color choice. :-)

    Adaptive cruise

I'm guessing that even though you have the front camera and front sensors, I'd be willing to bet there is more hardware in one or more of the Body Control Modules needed to complete the system, not to mention some major software changes that would be needed. GM would never make it that simple...

    Check reverse lamp

Thanks for the update. How long did it take? I'm just trying to figure out if this is something I can wait on, if reasonable, or if I'll be needing the wife to come pick me up.

    RPO Codes?

Then you can save/print it out and it would look like this:

Tire size for 21 Tahoe Z71

You are correct; 275/60R20, Goodyear Wrangler tires come on the 2021 Tahoe Z71. I think they are a good fit and are quieter than I expected. Personally, I don't believe they are too small. I'm "guessing" that any larger, you might experience some rubbing when turning.

    2021 Tahoe Discussion

Actually, I find the ride quality quite good! That said, I've never ridden in an F-150, Titan, or Ram and so I can only compare to my previous Tahoes and Yukons. My last was a 2016 Yukon Denali with magnetic ride and now I have a 2021 Tahoe Z-71 without magnetic ride or air suspension that...

    What are you losing

Most noticeable would be the independent rear suspension, new for 2021. The ride is sooo much smoother compared to the previous generations (comparing to my 2016 Yukon Denali). This also gives more leg room to passengers in the third-row seat. I've also noticed a much quieter ride too.

    Pearl Beige Metallic Denali XL

Very nice!! It's called "Empire Beige Metallic" over on the Chevy side and in my opinion, it's the best color offered! Over the years, I've had the red's, a black one, and a white one, and this is a real nice change.

    Financing - rate comparisons

The offer back in November had the stipulation that you had to have been a Costco Member for a certain period of time, which I believe was 6 months(?). I don't believe the Costco $1000 discount for our vehicles (i.e., Tahoe/Yukon) is being offered anymore (They have a Cadillac $1500 promotion...

    2021 suburban RST

I know there are a lot of people that love having the HUD and I was one of them at one time when I first had my 2011 Camaro SS. When I got my 2014 Corvette 1LT that didn't come with a HUD, I thought I would miss it. That proved not the case because the gauge display was more than adequate for...

    Speculation on 2022 Tahoe’s. Suburbans

I agree. From a "human factors" point of view, everyone knows people, no matter how hard they try not to, will have some reason to look at that screen while driving. At least by placing it in as high of a location as possible, you reduce the amount of "heads down" positioning and you retain...

    Wireless car play setup

I have an IPhone 11 (not the Pro) and I did the update yesterday too, so I just went to check to see if mine works and everything is working fine. Checked wireless charging, music, phone, Google Maps, all is fine.

Considering 21 Tahoe LT or Z71

For me anyway, in today's world, selling on your own is a bit risky on several fronts, thus I will always trade now (or may try CarMax in the future). I sold my first car, a 1966 Chevelle SS396 to a kid for cash and a week later his dad called me saying I sold him a bad car, wanted his money...

    My new RST

Have you tried the old "remove the negative battery terminal, wait a few minutes and reconnect" trick to have all the systems re-boot? If you haven't it might be worth a try.

    Wireless car play setup

It's been a few months since I did my setup, but this does look familiar. I believe that after I made sure my Wi-Fi was enabled, I just went into Settings - General - CarPlay and tapped "Chevrolet" and made sure CarPlay was enabled there and everything worked.

Still nothing that I've found. Just thought I'd update the post with pic of what we're talking about and copy of TSB.

    Am I the only one?

Also, I didn't see this mentioned here, but if you are current OR prior military (I've been retired since 1993), you MAY qualify for this discount also. Check here to see if you are eligible: https://www.gmmilitarydiscount.com/about-the-discount/ My sticker MSRP was $65,925 and with my...

    Vehicle build sheet

So the L84 engine has been around for several years now (First used in the 2019 Silverado, so mass production started in 2018 and was tested probably several years before that), so are we dealing with a change in the parts supplier for this build segment we're talking about here? Anyone know the...

    Is this vehicle TOO big?

If this is a major issue that is the only reason holding you back on a purchase, there is always the option to obtain those pedal extenders. When I got my 2014 Corvette with a 7 speed manual transmission, my wife was actually thinking of learning to drive a manual, but she was having trouble...

    Is this vehicle TOO big?

I see where the 2020 still had the power adjustable pedals, but I don’t see it in the Chevrolet “Build & Price” for the 2021.

    Is this vehicle TOO big?

The adjustable pedals are not available in the Tahoe anyway. I believe they are counting on the telescoping steering wheel to make up for the adjustable pedals.
