Hmmm... Ok, think you could confirm one more thing (for now) for me/us? I've got the illuminated GMC grille emblem installed on my '23, and I believe that it gets power from and plugs into a harness near the DRIVER-side fog light... This foglights-on harness would definitely plug in on the...
FYI, I lied about the location of the Autostop Eliminator wiring. It went behind the panel ABOVE the 4-wheel drive selector and lights switch panel in my ‘23. Haven’t removed the panel with the fog light switch in it yet, but I’m assuming it’ll have to be removed for this harness.
Any info yet on exactly how/where it will install? I've got the Autostop Eliminator behind the panel with the fog light button already... I'd imagine there's still room for another harness behind there, but... Thanks again.
Is that a "clunk," or more of a jingling sound? Because I feel like I have a jingling sound on deceleration -- like an exhaust "valve" jingles. Sounds like a light metal piece barely jingling against something (but this '23 6.2 makes a lot of different noises that my '09 5.3 didn't make).
If...
I'm loving my '23 Denali. Sure, there are some things about it I'd change, and I'm aware of the 6.2 problems. But a buddy just had his full-size Audi SUV black out and shut down on him mid drive (and he still doesn't have it back after 3 weeks), so I know that it's not only GMs that have...
I’d say that mine might do the same. Not so much a thunk, but it’s not particularly smooth. The whole trans is better than my ‘09’s, though, so I’m ok with it (for now, anyway).
It looks lowered in the pic, doesn't it? But it's just in the "exit" height -- and I think the fact that the back wheels are in a bit of a dip in the parking lot, and it's parked slightly uphill, makes it look a lowered. But I like it too!
I went to close my '09's rear glass one winter night, but it just wasn't latching. On the 3rd attempt in shattered into a million pieces. That wasn't awesome. But I think Safelite replaced it the next day.
I notice differences. For instance, I don't want much of the tread profile wrapping around to the sidewall of the tire. Some people who are after a more-aggressive/off-road look might seek that out, but that look isn't for me on my truck.
