    Check Engine Going On/Off

Well you certainly deserve an explanation of what is causing them and a resolution. Tell the dealer you want specifics!

Yukon Diesel + Maximum Tow Package - Anyone??

Why wait? There aren't enough differences to talk about... Have read on other sites that LZ0's are throwing more codes and causing more probs than LM2's have....and... can't get parts....

    Anyone know about ceramic coatings?

I wax my vehicles twice a year with Collonite for 20.00 and you could never tell them apart from a vehicle that was CC. Dirt washes off the same way, and they shine like a diamond.

    Lifter anxiety

Except with a warranty it would have been fixed also, and you’d still have years of warranty left to to fix OTHER issues that are sure to crop up…

    Windshield Chipping 2021 Yukon

When windshields get replaced on sophisticated vehicles, they have to do a complete recalibration through the OBD port. If you have the correct software, you just recalibrate the system, take it out for a drive test the systems and confirm they are working and you are good to go, but the...

Does any use a Fumoto oil pan drain valve?

Drain it into a DEF jug... why transfer oil twice?

Does any use a Fumoto oil pan drain valve?

What’s simpler than not getting any tools, flipping a lever and draining it with a tube directly into your waste oil container? DEF containers are perfect. I put a gallon baggie on my filter wrench and as soon as it comes loose, baggie catches all the oil and straight to the trash. Most time I...

Def usage - seemed to drop really fast

That's excessive. I've only put 7.5 gal in mine in 19K and its half full now....

How quickly did you switch out the OEM tires?

My goal is to get 20-25K out of them just to say I got "Some" good out of them. Most of their current 18K life has been in a sunny climate, but I can attest that we avoided/postponed driving cross country if we knew it was going to rain/storm. Terrible no confidence tire in the wet. Michelins...

    New vehicle recommendations

FYI, this is simply not factual. DEF is used daily as it is running to reduce NOX emissions and had nothing to do with regens. Regens are nothing but fuel and heat to burn off the DPF....

My Yukon Denali 2022 dead battery second time !

The de facto standard charger for most OEMs is the CTEK brand. I’ve had them for years, they work impeccably on AGM’s. I’ll leave them on for months at a time. Battery is always in perfect and peak condition.

How much weight does a floor jack need to support a 1999 Tahoe?

I don't use a floor jack for anything I'm going to be under and jackstands just get in the way. Get a good quality set of car ramps. You'll have more room and never worry about anything being suspended or held up.

Is it GM or the dealer calling the tire flat spot fix?

How do you go from needing people to willing to drop tens of thousands of white collar people at the drop of a hat?

Def usage - seemed to drop really fast

The gauge is nothing but a guideline and inexacting at best. Best philosophy is when you get 1st warning, dump a 2.5 in from Wally World and move on with life for at least another 6 months unless towing....

    EasyCare Extended Warranty

If it was 3000 when you bought the vehicle new, it could very well be 4 to 4500. If you wait till the end of 336. They know you are waffling at the end of 336 and you may think a big repair is coming, so they are going to penalize you for not buying right out of the box when you bought the...

    EasyCare Extended Warranty

Not true. Every extended warranty you buy starts from in-service date not from day you purchase….doesn’t matter when you purchase the 6/75 it ends in six years from in service date whether you purchase it the day you buy it or after 3/36. It does not add on to the mileage or time you have...

    EasyCare Extended Warranty

It does matter if you buy it in the beginning or the end. The length of the warranty is still the same if you buy a 6/75 new or a 6/75 at the 3/36 end, it still ends at 6/75…. and like the previous poster said, they’ll get about an extra thousand or 1500 because you didn’t buy right out of the...

2023 Yukon Denali 6.2L, Dead at 3600 miles

I can't count on one hand the posts of a 3.0 Dmax leaving anyone stranded because of DPF or DEF issues. Please don't lump them in with the 5.3/6.2 issues..... The T1's may have some issues but the Dmax ain't one of them.....

Don't take this the wrong way @OR VietVet , but you are the same person that advocates the glories of having a 2005 vehicle also. ( I also have 2004 so I know how old that is...) Not all of us want to live in the stone ages. If you want vehicle advancements/comforts, then you have to take...

Actual diesel consumption on 21 duramax Tahoe

I run the same trip basically, Northern IN to Ft Myers and about the same scenario. I made it from Indianapolis to w/in about 50 miles Valdosta GA on one tank. But low fuel light was on coming into the hotel and DTE range said "LO". :)....Not ever pushing it like that again. But super happy...

2022 Tahoe w- 7950 miles dead in the road

I’ve been through this story before. When I needed a certain part, there was one within 80 miles, but the other dealership wouldn’t part with it, they were that hard to get. So we had to wait the official channel route, which actually took about 2 1/2 weeks. I also had another time about two...
