    TPS issue and Dealer

Sounds like a VENT VALVE or PURGE VALVE issue. Google them and or use the search function here. Failure of these 2 EVAP system parts is likely to occur if you don't stop pumping gas at first click when filling up. They are not expensive or difficult to install. They can also fail due to old age...

    500 miles, = 1 qt oil

I'm recently put a load of Val R&P in my 233k mile Toyota FJ. I did it for the Protect, not for the Restore (zero oil consumption). In our 6.2 Denali I'm running a 33%mix of VPB"Restore" & 67% M1. I'm still trying to clean its guts up. Next year I'll probably switch it to HPL PPCEO 5w30 which is...

    Misfire on DOD cylinders

@Ceejkay My, and most all, 07&08 6.2L L92 engines did NOT come with AFM/DOD. But it was a mess when I bought it 6+ yrs and 68k miles ago w/130k. Immediately in 2018 I did the rear main seal, TSB = TSB# 10-06-01-008M , catch can, torque converter + seals, oil pan & o-ring. This last June of...

    Misfire on DOD cylinders

You might want to do a piston/combustion chamber soak. The bad pcv in the driver side valve cover can stick the piston rings in their groove. Doing this and a new rear main seal cured my oil consumption 6+ yrs and 68k miles ago. Today it has 198k miles and never needs any makeup oil between 5k...

2013 Escalade ESV Annual Maintenance Update: the good, the bad, and the incompetent

Over 1 yr and 8k miles ago I reinstalled the stock oil blockoff plate w/Felpro# 72435 and a little RectorSeal Tplus2 pipe thread sealant on it. Dry as a bone still. I use RectorSeal on most gaskets with great results.

    500 miles, = 1 qt oil

VRP is a good cleaning oil, but takes several full oil change intervals to clean things up. For immediate unsticking of the piston rings do a piston & combustion chamber soak: drain the oil and leave the plug out. I took all the sparkies out, squirted Motor Medic engine flush by Gunk(AutoZone)...

@Ceejkay Add a catch can. There are hundreds of post here on the subject. Spend a little or a lot, your choice: https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/get-a-catch-can-before-any-mods.49716/page-53#post-1288561 Has the the TSB about replacing the poorly designed driver side valve cover been...

Can you help me with OBDII code: P0430 ?

Almost 2 yrs ago at 192k miles I changed all four of the original good working O2 sensors in nour 07 6.2L with: 2 new GM Genuine # 213-3533, $58ea, & 2 new GM Genuine # 213-3538, $53ea, all from amazon. I keep the ole ones for spares. Same goes for the knock sensors. pt# 213-1576.

My fuel gauge does something similar. Fill it and it reads empty, after 80 miles are so it reads full. Then when its used 13+ gals it reads various amounts between full and empty? I changed the fuel pump/gauge module and nothing changed?

'07 6.0L safe max coolant tempurature while towing

At higher elevation increase the concentration of coolant from 50/50 to like 60/40. This increases the boiling point temperature.
