Tailgate strikers
Found a few tailgate strikers from a couple of 94 trucks, these are the same length all metal originally I measured nylon bushing I said half inch ng it’s 9/16 found a few more with nylon on them 1994 tailgate strikers are 1/2 inch I don’t know why the change but I’m going to try them out. Any... -

Could it be the alternator?
Some auto part stores will check battery for free they will do a draw test on it to see if it’s good they might even check alternator output for free. Pep boys or autozone. Check your negative and positive cables see if there is corrosion is everything tight follow to under hood fuse box open it...- Kelsda

Electrical bugs
On the newer body style 2007 I had similar issues it was a mega fuse mounted on passenger side fire wall cleaned it up problems went away I don’t know if 2001 has this- Kelsda

I had a 1995 2 door with stock rims 285 no rub -
OBS 1997 Tahoe lift gate plastic bushing.
I’m going to the bone yard on Saturday and see how many I can get,I’ll let you know how I made out if I find a few I could mail you one -
Someone tried to steal The Beast, now the ignition wont turn on.
Great that it wasn’t stolen now get a two way alarm I have a viper when someone or thing comes in contact with the truck it lets me know first with motion sensor go out and see who is fucking with your vehicle -
