Missing puddle light circuit 2016 suburban lt

I suspected that would be the case. How did you route the dome lamp circuit you tapped into from the BCM to the boards? The puddle lamp circuit also originates at the BCM (X7, pin 8). See if you have anything landed in that location. You’ve got a couple options. I tapped into the puddle...

Missing puddle light circuit 2016 suburban lt

I may be able to help you with all of this, but need to verify some things first. Are the power running boards OEM or aftermarket? If aftermarket, how/where did you tap into the dome light circuit? I need you to inspect the X185 connector. If you look at an expanded pic of the schematic you...

Cadillac LED Handles on 2015 Yukon?

Escalade side mirrors on a Tahoe LTZ!

Would there be any interest if I offered a wire harness solution to getting DL3 & Esky mirror features to work for those that don’t have them?

I need to get mine off the shelf and sell them along with my OE headlights, grille, intake manifold, throttle body, etc. lol

Pics Needed: Door to Body Harness Connector End Views

I’m working on a wiring solution for those that want to add features like puddle lamps, illuminated Escalade handles, etc. and need pics of the door to body harness connectors for LS, LT and SLE trims. Specifically, views of the connector ends where I can see what pins are/are not present. I...

Cadillac LED Handles on 2015 Yukon?

The front door harnesses are plug and play. However, for the rear doors, a puddle lamp circuit needs to be tapped into and a wire ran to the body side of the rear door connector. If you already have mirrors with puddle lamps, the wire will be in the run along the door sill. You can see where...

Cadillac LED Handles on 2015 Yukon?

Yes with the exception of one connector that goes to the led light in the rear interior door handle cavity. The Esky has a 6 pin connector (only 4 pins used) because it has an additional speaker in front of the door handle. The Tahoe/Yukon only has a 2 pin connector for the led light. The...

Denali Cluster with Heads Up Display

You won’t use that connector with the HUD. It will take a custom harness. @pgamboa can make them. You’ll also need a usb cable. I can give you the part number if needed. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Cadillac LED Handles on 2015 Yukon?

That’s me and my white Yukon. You can either swap out with Esky door harnesses or add the wire. You’ll get the signal from the puddle lamp circuit in the door harness. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

HID Upgrade for ‘18 Tahoe - Questions

I have done this mod (OE HID). It’s expensive, but I have no regrets. Very happy I pulled the trigger. @mad max is correct. The halogen and HID projectors inside the housing are different. You have to swap the entire headlight assemblies. For the wiring, you can’t simply plug in the HID...

Escalade side mirrors on a Tahoe LTZ!

@Kpwweb is correct, you have to wire them in. Not too hard to do. I think I had a thread on the install. Let me look. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalko

Escalade side mirrors on a Tahoe LTZ!

Here’s a video that @pgamboa did. I realize he’s working on a truck mirror, but the concept is the same. I believe the mirror cover clips are in the same place on the Escalade caps. Just spaced out a little since it’s a larger cap. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Yes, they will fit. The caps do come off. The best functional mod I’ve done.

Sorry for the delay. The third row is 84327941. The second row is 23237408. It’s possible those number have been updated. Have your parts guy double check they are the dune color. Here’s the p/n’s listed on the mats. It has all three colors listed. Second row: Third row:

    Engine electrical wire sleeve replacements

Make sure you get the nylon kind, not polyethylene. It has a higher heat and abrasion resistance for engine bays. It’s usually indicated with a white stripe on the loom. Typically, it’s more expensive.

Escalade side mirrors on a Tahoe LTZ!

The front handles are the five wire. Rear are the three wire. There’s a ground wire and one for the handle led. The other wires are for the keyless access. As far as the wiring goes, the challenge is getting the puddle lamp circuit to the handles. If you already have the puddle lamps in the...

Upgrade '16 Denali to HDMI input from '17 models?

The schematic I posted is the 2017 version. The graphic appears to show the older input adapter, but notice the 6 wires vs. 12 plus the additional usb connection. I added “2017” to that section in my previous post to hopefully avoid confusion.

Upgrade '16 Denali to HDMI input from '17 models?

You certainly can. The pin outs on the x300 center console connector haven’t changed. The only thing I haven’t figured out yet is where the additional usb cable in the I/P harness (which connects to the additional usb cable in the console harness) is routed and connects. My thinking is that...

Escalade side mirrors on a Tahoe LTZ!

I can check the pin outs, but the sail piece is different between the SUVs and trucks. The suv windshield has a sharper angle (i.e. more swept back look). Also, the plastic locator pin on the back of the sail piece is in a different location. They could look at tow mirrors and door harnesses...
