What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Not while towing that would almost be a world record. But they last forever if you take care of the maintenance. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I have owned my 02 suburban for 10 years now and it has had a ROUGH life. From towing 10k to 120 mph on the autobahn. From Hawaii to Germany. I have put over 100k miles on it and it around 170k on it now and shows NO signs of giving out any time soon. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Changed the oil today. Looks like close to 4 oz of oil from the catch can and was still a quart low. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

I have had Timkens in 3 different gm SUVs and have not had one go bad yet. I have used other hubs and the longest they have lasted was about two years. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

You can go for quite awhile but then you will tear up the tire and other parts. So I really depends on how much you are willing to spend. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

I think it was one of the best up grades I have done in regards of towing. Yes they helped. For under $100 and about 2 hours worth of work. They are a pia to put in. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Do I really need a new engine?

Yes But like many of us have gone through. It takes a lot to damage the cam. It is more likely to be a lifter. I have only heard of a hand full of people having problems with the dod/afm valley cover (me included) And if you are doing a top end rebuild it will be best to do a oil pump and...

Do I really need a new engine?

If it is damage to all of that then yes. But if you are going to spend that much money you would be better going with DoD delete and a nice cam. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Do I really need a new engine?

I never had to do any of that with mine and it took me just over hour. The new part comes with a gasket and if not use a higher temp rtv. The intake manifold seal may not have to be replaced. What other parts are going to cost that much?

Do I really need a new engine?

If it is the solenoid then it's a $200 part and if you have never done it before then it should take about 4 hours if you have then about 2 maybe less. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

What parking brake. Between Hawaii, upstate New York and being shipped all over the world all of the hardware holding the parking brakes on the axle rusted and stripped out. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
