    Dealers can place orders whenever/ however they want. It's upto the order manager at the dealer to determine how they want to use the allocations they receive from GM on Thursdays for their "orders placed" list.

    @BlaineBug my 2022 order took 9 months to get accepted due to various constraints. I think for the 22 year, diesels were at 0-25% production value depending on the week. Dealer gets their allocations along with nationwide production percentage every thursday.

    My friend works at stellantis. He worked on the hurricane engine and did a 1200 mile test drive with it a couple months ago. He said the engine performed very well and he was impressed with the results they got. That being said, he still said he wouldn't get a stellantis vehicle and prefers GM.

    @MCMcBride on top of what @todayusay - you should ask your dealer for clarity if you are 3rd in line with a diesel order. Those are only being produced at 10% currently, and allocations are very limited. So if you are #3 for a diesel, start searching for unsold stock orders at other dealers

    Okay that makes more sense lol As long as the dealer has it as retail sold order and in your name, and GM is still holding true to the order pricing honor they currently have going, then you should be price locked.

    Took to the dealer to have the headlight issue fixed and an oil change done. Happy they filled the DEF too, makes life simpler. While waiting to talk with the service manager, noticed the left headlight assembly rubbing paint away from the fender due to there being no gap space. So going back...
