I finally realized there was no upside to living in Calif and fled the state.
The cost of living is insane and the regulations are even more insane.
The local police are more interested in pulling you over and writing tickets for more revenue than actually dealing with actual criminals.
I am...
I moved from the People's Republic of Kalifornia to Wyoming.
I no longer have to smog my Yukon every 2 years nd there are zero state inspections.
When I move my other cars out here it will be quick and painless.
Just need a VIN verification and pay the fees.
I did see quite a few RWD Denalis when I was looking for mine almost 2 years ago.
But that was in So Cal where no one really uses an AWD or 4WD vehicle.
Washed it today, still waiting on RA to deliver my parts so I can do the valve cover gaskets.
I sure hope the plug wires aren't a massive PIA.
Other GMT900's that I have done plugs and wires on, the plug wires were a major PIA.
Cleaned up the inside, will give it a bath tomorrow.
Also found that my passenger side valve cover has decided to start leaking and the driver side is weeping.
Ordered some new gaskets and new wires since they have to come off the coil packs, at the very least, to get to the valve cover gaskets.
I have to find a good shop out my way, back in So Cal I found one that did great work and I had them do all my alignments.
They were honest and did great work.
So honest that when the step son bought a couple year old used car and he took in for an alignment, after a few hours they called him...
Changed the earl on the Yukon.
Went with 0W-30 because temps are already down into the 20's overnight.
Did a general look around and everything seemed to look good.
A few months ago I rented the larger version of that trailer and it towed well even though I probably was at max weight capacity for it.
But, I made sure to load it so the center of the weight would be just forward of the axle.
Looking at the tires when I got it home I wasn't confident they...
Try these guys for the wire loom clips.

I replaced the 12v power outlet bezels and covers.
One was broken off completely and the other one was just barely hanging on for the last year.
RA had genuine GM pieces for like $3.67 each plus shipping.
I should have ordered some extras but I want to add USB outlets to at least one of the...
Sorry to hear that.
Especially lousy that you have a great TC that cannot be reused until you can get it rebuilt.
Swapping in a new TC is something I need to do with mine before the OEM one shreds itself and trashes the trans.
It was the same issue, added more water and hit the button for the rear washer and this connection had come undone.
The stiffer, plastic hose was nowhere near the other piece so I didn't think it was even part of the system until I saw water coming out with the rear washer pump operating.
It was...
Rear wiper update, put a little bit of water in the tank and tried the rear washer, fluid was coming out from under the driver side rear bumper area.
Took my mom on a few errands and noticed when I was parked on an uphill incline, there was a lot of water under the rear.
Crawled under real quick...
According to Alldata, the rear pump is mounted higher in the tank than the windshield pump.
I tried to activate the rear the other day after it had rained and the rear glass was all nasty and nothing came out.
I figured it was a hose issue but then I got the Low Fluid warning and now the front...
I need to pull the driver side fender liner back so I can see if my windshield fluid tank is cracked.
I just filled it with winter fluid and it is now all gone.
It was holding fine with regular fluid just a few weeks ago but now it's empty.
The organizer looks great.
I may just get one but I do like to keep my EDC in the console when it's not on me, the organizer would hinder access.
Or, I'll just have to keep it somewhere else.
Sounds like you need a huge cap to keep your lights from dimming during the amp surges.
That was pretty much standard with big amps about 20 years ago.
You do realize you will now be forced to share the links or descriptions for the knobs and other stuff, right? :p
All my knobs are in tact but a few of the auto AC buttons have worn.
I've seen the stickers but I may just send out the assembly to be redone correctly.
At around $100 it is way...
