    Entire SF is that part of town :) However, we have a smog check here in Comifornia, and a vehicle will not pass it without OEM or CARB approved cat.

    Also, 2 weeks ago the "Replace your engine" light went on. P0430. Bank 2 catalytic converter died. Downstream O2 sensor readings clearly indicated that. I replaced it with the brand new OEM converter. That was not cheap!!! The removal of it was not too difficult, but still a PITA. Of course...

    New wheels & tires for summer: factory Silverado SS 20" wheels wrapped in Continental TerrainContact A/T 275/60R20. Wheels were powder coated in dark gunmetal color. No rubbing with front leveling & 1/4 wheel spacers. Pix:

    Here they come. I also upgraded my trailer hitch to Class 4. It also sits about 2 inches higher then the factory one. The old factory hitch is available for free pick up if anyone wants it.

    The time has come to raise the rear bumper. I installed 1" body lift a while ago, but was slow with the bumper relocation. Today a re-welded the brackets and also cut off spare wheel carrier to raise it up higher, as there's now plenty of room up there. Thinking may be install the secondary fuel...

    I used to live in Twin Peaks, but the rent out there is crazy. I am paying the same price now for a 2 story 2BR/2BA house with an attached garage the same that I used to pay for a 1BR apartment out there.

    I attached GM Service manual extract, check out #12. Basically, the crankshaft does not have a keyway, so balancer can be installed in any position, and since these parts are balanced separately, it can potentially throw off misfire detection due to slight fluctuation in RPM between cylinders.
