Remove the front part of the wheel liner and look at the black plastic piece to check for broken tabs. Its part #2 in the diagram. It screws on to the metal fender with 3 screws. The bumper cover clips on to it. You can loosen the mount screws and reinsert the cover then tighten the screwws to...
I had something similar on a corvette. One harness connector wasn’t seated well. I had to self diagnose since the dealer couldn’t get consistent trouble codes to diagnose it. Seating it fixed it. However, later the connected wiring harness started going bad. Seems like at some point during...
Right. You have to measure it. Mine is set at about 6" drop. The receiver is higher in the bumper than the pickup that are below the bumper. Stock suspension you probably need 4" drop.
When you cut the bolts you can still put it back to stock you just have to use the shorter nuts that come with the lift. GM tall nuts won’t work. On the other hand the adjustable coil overs seem like a better option but I haven’t tried them. I used the rough country 2.5 and it seemed to ride a...
I’m not trying to put together a parts list. I just want to know if the disabler will handle the programming part of the DFM delete. That said, if I’m going to put a new cam in, I’d rather have better performance and then I need a tune anyway.
You have magneride shocks. They cost more and there are no aftermarket. They probably are worn out at 75k miles. If you don't install magneride you will need a way to trick the computer that they are still intalled, but those are available.
Relocate brackets made from some spare parts I had laying around. Contact only happens at full droop and full turn. So they may not be absolutely necessary.
I have the RXP single can on my Camaro. I watched the video of the new dual can setup. Seems to make sense. I was noticing people on youtube with other cans are just picking up one side of the valve cover and not the intake hose.
Are the drains accessible. Seems like a lot of hose connectoins. Does it really need to connect to so many spots. I haven't looked into this yet but would like to get one on it.
Stock offset is around 28 mm, you can google or look at the back of your wheels. 1" = 25.4 mm. So a +1 offset will move them out about 1.1". I think you can only get the blitz in 16 or 1. 16 offset is only going to move them about 12mm or 1/2".
Here you can see what 1 offset looks like with...
Seems like all you need to add to those is some fittings and an air hose with shrader valve. You could look at air bag assist kits for other vehicles and see what all they come with. Is an air filter or anything needed, etc.?
You might try posting in the street suspension section where you get...
Thanks for posting this. I wouldn't have thought about this happening. Do you have photos of the lift parts with the strut? I am assuming there is a top of strut spacer with a large diameter hole.
I installed the rough country 2.5" lift myself. It has a steel plate on the top of strut with a...
If the OP is towing a lot, spring spacers might be an option. It will ride high when unloaded though. You could also do an air strut on the rear like the one posted on page 2 from ebay. You just set it to a tow pressure or a not-towing pressure. It doesn't have to be constantly adjusting or...
I installed it myself. Install would probably cost $400. This kit does the job, but I think the Ready lift 3" kit is better quality. I wanted a little shorter so I can fit in the garage.
