    6inch lift with 33's

Why I was thinking a mid size lift. However this would be my first time overlanding in a vehicle like my YUKON. Whole diferent animal than my big boy Silverado HD . So im definitely open to other lift options. But ya I had already considered diferent upper control arms and I trust Kryptonite...

    New to catch can

So new to the world of catch cans. Don't need them on my 2015 2500HD Silverado. I have a 2012 GMC YUKON SLT and was told to install a catch can. It will be my daily driver and 4x4 driven when needed in the snow and or on some trips overlanding when called for. Are they pretty much all...

    6inch lift with 33's

Ya bud I'm not looking to go that tall. I'm getting back into overlanding and a mid size lift is ideal for overlanding. As well as a good set of A/T's. A mid size lift from my past experience with overlanding is more agile, more articulate with decent down travel and better center of...

    6inch lift with 33's

Ya I'm looking at the 5inch RC lift but with upgraded coilovers upfront for a better ride. That way I can still run 33's on my 17's with wheel spacers of course. Then again I might change my mind and go with the 5inch BDS cause with that lift you can use stock 17's and run 33's without any...

    6inch lift with 33's

Ya but 305 is a weak gear set up for my GMC Yukon. So I was thinking bout 33's on my stock wheels on a 6inch kit. Obviously I would need to run wheel spacers up front and back as my track width is getting pushed out. So atleast 1.50 to 2 inches up front and .50 in the rear if I remember my box...

    6inch lift with 33's

So anybody running a 6inch lift with 33's? Want to see how they look. I want to put a 6inch kit on my Yukon but with only a 305 gear set up ( not regearing anytime soon) anything more than 33's and my tranny will scream kill me now. Lol. I would like 35's but ya way to much for my tranny...

    Ready lift

Well then BDS is looking like the way to go then and once I took the fox shox out, way cheaper, lol. Will definitely provide the clearance i need for overlanding ( getting back into it) will provide nice underbody protection and seems like overall good ride/steering and tough stability as...

    Ready lift

Gotta admit your set up looks good. What are you running on yours? Ya I'd figure i would have to get an 33" aftermarket wheel and proper offset for that beefier/bigger stance. And I would upgrade upper control arms to Kryptonite...

    Ready lift

Right now I have the stock 31's but I want to go max of 33 because of my stock gear set up of the 305's. I do not plan on regearing. Do you have a lift in mind of not more than 4-5 inches? Thot about 6 but that's to much lift for that small of tire and 17" wheel

    Ready lift

So with this Yukon I'm wanting to go strictly bolt on suspension that I can still untilize my factory 17" rims with my Cooper A/T tires that are brand new. I found this. Opinions are wanted and suggestions are welcome. Maybe other lifts that you know of that stay within $1,600. I've got...

    Tunning and dealership issues

I figured as such. Just wanted to make sure was all. I figured it was the same as my 2015 Silverado 2500HD and it's tuning process and putting it back to stock and being no trace of it. My plan is to finish tuning my Silverado, then buy the extra auto license and get to work on the Yukon...

    Tunning and dealership issues

So after tuning your truck and then setting it back to stock to say taking it to the dealership for some work on it any issues with the dealership saying it's been tuned or anything like that? I have an extended warranty on my 2012 Yukon SLT that my dealership thru in as part of a program with...

    2012 better years?

Oh when I get around to it I will. Already talked to the Lazer guy at work bout it. He has no issue with it all.

    2012 better years?

So I was told by a few of the Burb/Tahoe guys at truck night ( I take my Silverado out there usually) that the 2012's were one of the better years. True or not? The AFM were less of an issues I was told. Even tho I will be disabling it via my Diablo InTune I3 then at some point run a...

    Lifted Tahoe project/daily driver

Wheel spacers are not all that bad. Been running them for 2 years on my lifted 2015 2500HD Silverado with no issues and yes that means some overlanding and some mud runs. However if your going to run some spacers keep them the same front and back. Running odd spacers on a lift can effect...

    Child windows over ride?

OK that makes sense with the shorter wheel well curve if that's why. Let me check on the inside of the door itself as some trucks you can unlock it and lock it buy sliding a little switch over.

    Child windows over ride?

Nope, no go fellers, unlocked everything and back windows do no go all the way down. So maybe I'm missing something?

    Child windows over ride?

Oh hell I can disable them to go all the way down. Guess I wasn't paying close enuf attention to the controls. Thot I was,but again guess not. Mods feel free to delete this thread then. @Doubeleive thanks man

    Child windows over ride?

So is there anyway to over ride the child safety windows? I'm not a fan of them. Didn't really find much in the owners manual.

    Do it myself stereo install?

Thanks guys for the info. I have settled on 2 possibilities. I'm open to suggestions as well as what might have a better touch screen, better interface, screens that have diferent light outputs for the real sunny days and need to adjust them to be able to see the screen better, better quality.

    Do it myself stereo install?

I was just visiting that site. I didn't know that they can actually solder in most of the harness. Much much easier. Will there be a selection to have the harness soldered in I take it?

    Do it myself stereo install?

I belive I can. I can read prints and schematics and I was a welder and then a machinist. But electrical is not my thing. But I think I will attempt to do it myself.
