With that many miles on the vehicle I suspect the leak is coming from rear main seal. I'm surprised it lasted that long they usually go out around 120k miles.
Before y'all beat me up, the GMC bumper is on there as a temporarily fix. Son wrecked it and buddy of mine had that bumper, so I put it on. Free fix. Lol
Got the truck buttoned up and running. It sounds like a nascar, lol.
Spoke to the tuner this afternoon and he can tune it Monday. Can't wait

Starting to see daylight at the end of the tunnel, only thing left to do is install the plugs, wires, fan shroud, fan and button up some of the cooling hoses. Super excited to hear it run.
Removed the old camshaft and installed the new one in. Got one head in along with rockers.
Also upgrade the rocker arms with the
Michigan Motorsports LS1 Rocker Arms Bronze Bushing Trunion kit.
Removed the oil pan and tray and found more broken lifter pieces. There was 1 piece that I could not find and I was not going to close up the engine knowing there was still loose debris in the engine
After blowing air and inspecting the crankshaft and pistons I ended up finding the missing...
If you don't mind me asking how much $$$$ do you have in the ppv set up?
Wondering if its worth the time and effort than just going the aftermarket way.
