P0300 and hesitation going up hills

I replaced plugs with the OEM AC Delco 41-110 Professional Iridium plugs off Amazon in Summer of 2017. I only go with what is recommended in this forum. I just did more testing and took a video showing some of the symptoms. I wonder if this is a sign of clogged cats as I can hear some exhaust...

    Fake air raid

You will also need a breather filter for the pvc so you dont have to drill a hole to connect a tube.

    Fake air raid

Just bought the parts including matte high temp black paint. I believe 3.25" of pipe goes between each elbow and the ends. Everything is 3" wide. They sell 2 types of elbows for 2 of the elbows. Street or something...I dont know the difference but other videos mentioned the street version...

P0300 and hesitation going up hills

In the past I complained about transmission stutter which recently improved with another transmission fluid/filter change. But lately i'm getting the P0300 code for misfire and really feeling it going up hills. Truck sometimes loses a lot of power. I have done the following: 1. Replaced air...

Want to do a trans filter and fluid change....

Prying exhaust did well for me the first time around. used the jack top pipe and a jack to put pressure on the back. Kept testing it so I put it down just enough to get job done.

Want to do a trans filter and fluid change....

I'm planning to do this job this week on my 2011 tahoe. I did it before using a fel-pro gasket kit which looked sturdy but I did have leaks. I will be sure to properly torque this time and want to be safe and replace my pan bolts. Some people gave bad reviews on ac delco filter kit stating...

Shopping Now - What Would You Buy?

You can do AFM delete via a tune for under $100. Mileage to me means nothing as long as you have some history of maintenance.

wireless Android Auto/Carplay for any headunit with A/V input

I was going to say the same thing until I calculated the additional plug ins. Even the more affordable PAC is an addition plus antenna adapter and face plate/bracket.

    Help me “bulletproof” my K2500....

I dont recall the interval ever being that low, even when driven/towed hard. I thought it was closer to 100k for trans fluids but 60k or so would be playing it safe. Transfer case is 30k I believe while diffs are also at 100k.

is this the right trans fluid?

I use the same as well. Good price, easy access (Walmart)

    Rear End Clunk Sound

I wont change all the fluids right away but I would inspect and change anything that didnt look confidently clean (red tranny fluid, clear/red power steering, real light oil, strong colored coolant). If anything looks like it has not been changed in a while, I change.

    Trailblazer torque converter

So we are still waiting to confirm if a torque converter from a trailblazer would work and what would be needed? When you have shutter, that is representative of a torque converter issue right? I'm assuming price is the main reason to go with Trailblazer TQ over something aftermarket?

    Oil and filter recommendations

My car sits at 35 idle and 40 regular driving. If I go hard, it might touch 50-60. I think a few confirmed these numbers on the TBSS while the TBS normally had an average higher pressure.

    Oil and filter recommendations

I have used Mobil 1 5W-30 for the 75k miles of ownership I have owned mine. Used AC Delco filter throughout as well except one time when I used a Mobil 1 Extended Performance (Gold strip) filter and my oil sensor went bad. Possible coincidence but I stayed with AC Delco after that. Changed...

    Transfer Case oil recommendation

Thanks. 2 Qts of 80w-90 for front diff 3 Qts of 75W-90 Synthetic for Rear Diff I thought the G80 required certain additives? Also, is it ok to have synthetic for front diff? I did not see that labeled.

    Transfer Case oil recommendation

Changed my transfer case fluid although it was still red. Anyone provide feedback on the suggested fluids for my differentials. Its weird even dealership had trouble finding correct details for my front diff.

    Broken Motor Mounts

You not joking about bruised ribs. My chest cavity still pains me when I put pressure with my finger. I had to use some padding to protect myself reaching over that grille/bay half way through the install. Still feel some pain in my shoulders extending from driver wheel well to tighten bolts...

    Transfer Case oil recommendation

Yes. So does the front differential need anything special? Does the G80 apply to front/rear diff? Transmission - ATF Synthetic Dexron VI Transfer Case - ATF Synthetic Dexron VI Front Diff - ??? Rear Diff (G80) - ???
