Yea I wouldn’t trust the drive thru car washes let alone a punk teen figuring out how to keep my ride from going straight in those tracks. Swirl marks galore….
I prefer washing myself and keep it spotless.
Yes i did too and was like WTF. Went to start my truck, idle for a few mins came in and restarted app and message cleared and updated. Nothing displayed on my DIC…
Yep, I try to focus on what my DIC tells me not what the nay sayers think.
I know how much money I pay on gas and aint much more than what I payed on my Daily driver Jeep…
Would be nice if they weren’t to wide. I know on different suv’s like a jeep srt have some thin ones that actually look good.
This is one of the reasons I haven’t gotten any and would rather wash weekly.
I call mine “Sancha”
Means side @$$ in spanish. Was planning on getting custom plates but well wifey gave me the eye and well my camaro has that plate name…
Yep, I believe that is the one and only thread regarding 22’s. Didnt bother reading it again but correct me if Im wrong there is only one 22 failure…per that thread. Haven't seen any others.
Another thing I suggest which you can also use on the entire vehicle but I’ve only used it to remove tree sap is Butter Wet Wax on the windows. Water or anything would simply slide off. I love that thing and freaking smells good.
My RST is ceramic coated as well and may see a water spot here and there but very minimal. My go to soap by chemical guys is Hydro suds. That stuff works best from experience wit ceramic coating. My black truck is spotless. I am currently using the honey dew, feel it suds more but doesnt...
Id be pissed if this was a thing on a 21. I use remote start daily with no issues. My brother just got a 22 about a month or 2 but havent asked him if he’s experienced this on his. Dont want to jinx him lol.
That Z71 looks great. I wanted to do a similar thing on my RST which is already blacked out minus the wheels and the orange flare. Found a kit on amazon and I’m considering smoking the tail lights.
This was on my to do list but read a post here there are some fakes out there so decided not to pull the trigger. Wish it would also eliminate DFM too but you cant have your cake and eat it too.
I agree on getting the premier now. I have the RST and as far as the interior goes i think that may be the hardest part in getting it close to an RST. Personally i prefer the non wood on the RST but, Everything else like others have said it’ll be cheaper to mod it to your liking than trading...
If you ask me, but only if you ask…
The best approach would be to categorize everything into sub-sections within the forum. I’ve been in quite a few car forums through my days and all have been a bit “Interesting”. The only one that was broken down like this is camaro5.com.
Break this down...
