That was my experience. It stayed about the same but I drive it harder now. I used to baby it everywhere with the "it's a dang bus, not going anywhere fast" mentality lol. Got the tune and yea I have alot more fun driving it now lol
You don't want a oem suburban box... they are smaller and have a much shallower mounting depth. Plus they only fit if you have a burb or xl.
Of you do, there is room there to fiberglass a box in and come up with about 6-7" of mounting depth and 1 cu.ft. sealed. You can fit a single 10 or 2 8's...

I have the second ones. I like them alot. I am considering trying to bypass the 3 stage turn signal for a simple 2 stage. They are really bright though.

Not sure how the Spyder assembly is, my but spec d tuning headlights you had to take the front lens off. It's really easy on aftermarket headlights, a heat gun and a flat head screwdriver and it's off.
Man I want to run that guy off the road...
So your saying you don't care if you blind other drivers or if they blind you while your driving?
Simply reason for why? Much better light output and visibility without blinding other drivers.
Also there is no proper aim when hids are in halogen...
